Yeah because there's only 1 belt so unless somebody retires with the belt every new champion will be a lineal champion. Only 3 people have ever done it that's because most ufc fighters contracts don't last long enough or they don't give them the chances to do it.
This fight was offered to khan while the belt was on the line. He refused it. He is now giving conditions to brook before he can fight him. Brook should just move on and when he gets ko'd again let him come back running for the fight
Why would he take only 10 million when his leaving a lot more money on the table. And by the looks of it this could be the biggest fight of his career in regards to money. So he should capitalise on it and try get as much money as he can.
I think they are both impressive when your not expecting it or when it's the underdog that's come and does it. If it was mayweather then we know your getting a shut out its what's expected. But for example I didn't expect kovalev to shut out Hopkins or bradley to ko rios.

We keep hearing that they'll get made and then nothing happens. That's what's dragging boxing down. Thurman porter and frampton cruz did happen but apart from that nothing much else. Now kovalev ward. If there was more of these match ups boxing would definitely be back in the mainstream media.
Some people are so brainwashed it's actually scary. Because some mad man does something terrible in the name of Islam doesn't mean he is actually a Muslim. For someone as uneducated as he is he knew far too much about peds. Either he used them or he did his research. People who generally have a lot of knowledge either are in the medicinal field or have been users. And who's to say he wasn't using them now. With enough money and know how you can still get past drug testing. There's far more money put in to new ways of avoiding getting caught than new drug testing methods. So there's always new ways to not get caught.
So I personally think he did and he may have been using it right until his last fight. It's not like he didn't have the money to pay for the good stuff
Unless his been caught have to say his a clean fighter. More money goes into developing peds to test negative than developing new drug tests. So maybe a lot of fighters are on it and their tests are coming back are negative. And the amount of development going on for peds at this moment in time is a s**t load.
I still am in the minority who actually believes the best of Haye will beat most of the top heavyweights now and would probably be the top guy it weren't for his injury (say what you want, it's a legitimate injury). I don't criticise the opponents Haye has fought so far as he's on the comeback trail but I will do if he continues with his selection of lesser opponents after the Briggs fight.

I'm with you on this one. I think haye would beat most of them out there. And I know people keep saying to fight a real opponent. But who is actually going to fight him. The names everyone mentions wouldn't fight him. They are trying to get a title shot. They wouldn't risk that to fight haye. He could probably get a tony thompson or someone. His a conman. It's not like his fights are on ppv. It's on dave which is free. And I don't think anybody had a gun to their heads to buy tickets.

Quillin has been in some entertaining fights so don't mind seeing him back fighting good competition. And I'm not going to lie but I was glad when he lost. Not because I hated him but because of how he was apparently the best in the division and then fought a stripper. Sometimes a loss is good and brings perspective to the fighters abilities and the fans who hype them up.
