According to this video interview by BoxNation, which was posted almost 2 weeks ago that Saunders was saying there was a BIG BIG fight coming up and going to be made very soon. He said something would be announced by next week, which was last week and nothing has been announced! Like what the hell?
Saunders is playing us for fools again, thinking he's going to have a big fight soon (with GGG in Kazakstan) possibly.
But it's all BS, Imo.
Hey Billy Joe Saunders,
if you're reading this,
where's your big fight announcement?
What gives?
They want Eubank Sr to fail so bad because he didn't go thru traditional means and did it on his own. But look at the fight thread posted on here. Over 370 posts. I looked on reddit, over 500 posts. On Twitter everybody is talking about David Price. A single facebook stream of the fight had over 90k people watching it. Not good for their PPV numbers but it shows there is a demand to watch the card. I don't know if the fight will be a financial success but it was a success building buzz and promoting his son.
I liked it. There were some good fights on there. It will be better in the future.
You know that Hearn and Warren hate the fact that this guy got ITV to commit to box office.
Who gives a sht about the chubby white boy
Saunders is a euro level fighter.
If he gave enough of a sh*t about the sport he could be alright. He doesn't though. He only gets any kind of recognition because everyone is waiting for him to dump his belt.
Would be good to see Khurtsidze get his shot finally.
As for BJS, I would love to see him fight Canelo / GGG if they aren't going to fight each other. It would be good to see if he can step it up to the next level, but I'm not sure he's got the confidence to fight either at the moment. I think they both stop him - GGG rounds 6-9 and Canelo late stoppage possibly UD :boxing:
Yep. They were set to announce a Murata fight in Japan when the WBO mandated Khurtsidze. Khurtsidze's team made it clear that they're not accepting a step-aside deal either. He'll be 38 and they know if they win the WBO title, it's worth way more than any step aside deal.
His still waiting for a fight according to his twitter account. He loves talking about eubank but has done nothing himself since beating Andy lee. When he starts defending his belt against credible opposition then he can talk about eubanks opponents
