YES! This is an exciting fight to make. Sad that you guys are so quick to discard fighters with losses under their belt. These two will put on a barnburner. Decent fight, This better not be PPV in Canada though It will be 100%. Stevenson, Pascal, Lemieux, and Bute all have huge deals with Canal Indigo so there's big money to be made from customers in Montreal, Northern Ontario, Labrador, etc. As long as the card is solid I will absolutely be buying it. But I'm a Lemieux fanboy so take that into account.

Ward's opposition has been terrible since the Super Six. We can't keep using the skills he showed in 2011 to justify his ranking now. If the Kovalev fight doesn't happen for ANY reason this fall he needs to come off the list.

Yikes. The world has such a frothing hatred for Mayweather that they blindly see Pacquiao's "offense" in this fight (flailing and missing) as a dominant performance. Floyd won at least 8 rounds in this fight. It wasn't close and even Pacquiao knew it.

I think Canelo fully intends to fight him in Fall 2017. He's "ducking" him at the moment so far as his promoters want the fight to be built up and want to squeeze a few more fights out of him before potentially "sacrificing" him to Golovkin. But it's silly to say Ward is ducking him when he's fighting Kovalev this fall. Golovkin is being ducked by a few guys (Sergio Martinez fully admitted to doing so), but to say everyone who doesn't fight him tomorrow from 140-175lbs is ducking him is ridiculous.

No. The undercard is absolute trash, the price is way too high, and the promoter himself admitted the fight has no business being on PPV. I'm really glad this fight is happening, but $60 for two relatively unknowns on a shallow card is inexcusable and unjustifiable. Especially now that cable companies are cracking down on recording these events.

I actually hope Khan has some success in MMA. He has underrated power for his size and can actually throw a proper punch unlike the arm punching windmilling that get passed off as punching in MMA. Plus everybody there has a glass jaw too so he'll fit in just fine.

Alvarez fought the last 5 years at 154lbs, and only ever fought at 155 as the highest weight, before now returning to 154lbs. get over it. I don't care if Alvarez wants to fight at 154lbs. But he has no business holding a 160lb title, defending a 160lb title, or calling out other guys with 160lb titles if he's not willing to fight at 160lbs. Accusing a 160lb fighter of ducking because he wants to defend his title at 160lbs is disgraceful. That mentality is reserved for fanboys.

It's about not willing to spend $60+ on fights that should be on HBO (while I'm paying $20/month for absolutely no fights on that channel). There has to be a breaking point. And mine came when you asked me for a "discount" $60 for a main event you admitted was HBO-worthy and a barebones undercard I couldn't pay my friends and family to watch.
