Like Andre Ward? Even Mayweather wasn't as bad or when broner magically appeared on the list, he had better recent opposition at the time.
ward's last 4 years have been prospect level opposition.
Personally I would not have him anywhere near a p4p top 10 but I know many of you would so which other p4p entrant, over a span of 4 years, fought bums?
Kessler and Froch weren't disputed since... when?
When you need to clinch after landing a punch it goes to show how lacking in a real boxing IQ you are, Ward is basically portrayed as this next successor to Floyd Mayweather but the simple facts is he isn't anywhere near as talented as Golovkin, Pacquiao, Crawford, Joshua and so on.
The moment Ward actually wins a fight without having to turn a boxing match into a wrestling match is the moment I will give him his due credit but as things stand he cheated his way to a victory over Froch and Kessler and then shamefully ducked both men when they look to seek revenge why did he duck them?
BECAUSE both fighters were going to make sure the referee obeyed the rules of the book, its sad that Americans so called best can't even fight clean.
Kessler
The Kessler fight was one of the most disgusting displays I have ever seen and tbf, Froch beat Abraham just as well, if not better than Ward. The bika fight was an ugly affair but a lot of that is down to Bika himself...then again, Calzaghe beat a better version.
So basically, Wards run all depends on the Froch fight and props to Ward for winning it comfortably. And I really do mean comfortably. Froch got in some good shots as the fight wore on but tbh Ward was too strong for Froch, which is a rare thing to say of a Froch opponent.
]None are disputed all are wide decisions, and duck GGG??lol 164 doe

Kessler
“Ward just doesn’t want to fight. Sometimes you should make rules against clinching. When I fought him in 2009 he clinched me 88 times. When we watched it on tape we actually counted. I tried to push him away but he’s clever at what he does. He’s a world champion of that. But I think he’s actually scared. He throws fast punches, light punches, and then holds you. It’s so boring. That’s why he has no fans. He’s not a big name and he likes to stay at home.
Mccallum, Reggie, hill were all pretty past it, and basically big name mismatches for a prime p4p elite..
Make better poll options next time, and don't assume because somebody voted yes, that it automatically makes them talking about ggg.. I didn't mention ggg once
Listen, the reason I highlighted you is because I know you normally give sound reasons, even if you had said GGG, I'm pretty sure you would have given better reasons than "but 2011".
STill, you can't vote yes as being busy, winning world titles across 2 more divisions and beating legitimate former world title holders is still better than what Ward has done. IT was a pretty bad vote and you just have to admit it.
Yes means there was definitely a worse fighter, there hasn't been.
Gonzalez (whcih you mentioned) might be a better argument as I'm still iffy with him being on top top p4p lists but he has looked imperious against his opposition.
Mcallum, Hill, Johnson, Griffin are all leagues and leagues above Barrera, Smith and Rodriguez. It's not even close.
Yeah Jones had pretty average opposition for a guy who was supposedly p4p no. 1 but it's not even close.
So you can't vote yes...if I had a maybe option, it would've made sense but how does voting yes make sense?

GGG has 0 world level wins his entire damn career
Do you honestly think wins over Murray, Lemuiex Geale and whoever the fvck else you mentioned makes a fighter p4p top 3?
He annihilated those guys and looked at least 3 levels above them and they were all world level middleweights.
But like I keep saying, stay on topic.
What has Ward done to stay on the p4p list for 4 years. Stop bringing up fRoch from 2011. That's not relevant here. Stop saying GGG has weaker overall opposition because not only is it irrelevant to this thread, it's not entirely true because Wards resume is pretty thin beyond Froch and Kessler, that too a life time ago.
If you can't answer the question, just hold your hand up and say you were wrong. It's an internet forum, it won't hurt your street cred in brooklyn.
Why don't you read your own thread before calling out people for not posting..
I simple said roy jones from post-toney from 95-99 comes close to ward's last 4 years as roy fought very subpar competition for a p4p elite.. Montel was about the best guy he fought, and there was about a dozen complete mismatches.. Most of that has to do with the division at the time being so putrid.. By 2000 roy was fighting much better caliber fighters in Harding, woods, julio, etc..
I would also say roman gonzalez has been treading water since his 2012 victory over Estrada...
While roys and Romans have been more active in those years compared to ward, the mismatched competition, the overall competition level is way below normal p4p elite guys.. For any top level p4p elite to go four years without a major big fight is very rare

Andre Ward best wins are all disputed with foul play, GGG wins emphatically and has fans talking in awe.
It's too bad Ward had to duck GGG.None are disputed all are wide decisions, and duck GGG??lol 164 doe
We're not talking about best ever wins, we're talking about a guy staying on the p4p list for almost half a decade with ZERO world level wins or world title wins.
How does that work for you?
GGG has 0 world level wins his entire damn career
Those are indeed his best wins and they all came in the last 4 years, during which, GGG has been on most p4p lists between 18-24 months.
You all got embarrassed in the other thread I made, don't make me bump it. You even avoided voting in it you knew **** was that bad for you.
STop being a fighter fan and trying to look for the next Mayweather to slurp off and start being a boxing fan.
Do you honestly think wins over Murray, Lemuiex Geale and whoever the fvck else you mentioned makes a fighter p4p top 3?
What was your answer then?

look at GGG's record for a so called p4p top 3 guy....its literally the worst of all time
I'm asking you a really simple question, which is what this thread is all about. This is the last time I will ask it if you can't answer it, along with dick slurper larry and pseudo fan diabetes ali, I'm going to expect you to have forfeited all reason.
Here goes:
Which fighter, other than Andre Ward, in boxing history, has managed to stay on a p4p list, often get ranked number one, without fighting a single world class opponent or winning any world titles?
Andre Ward best wins are all disputed with foul play, GGG wins emphatically and has fans talking in awe.
It's too bad Ward had to duck GGG.
Man forget it, they can't even answer a simple question and have to go back to as far back as 2011 to try and justify Ward being top p4p. Which makes no sense and doesn't answer the question I posed.
At least RedFoxx had the shame to go into hiding.
Andre Ward best wins are all disputed with foul play, GGG wins emphatically and has fans talking in awe.
It's too bad Ward had to duck GGG.
:bottle::bottle:I wonder why his opponents arent whining or begging for rematches...oh yea, he beat them clearly....get over it
BRO....in awe? over knocking someone out they had to google and who was on house arrest.....yea...the stuff legends are made of bwahahahahahahahahahahaa
Those are GGG's best wins...lol...those are his career highlights?

Oh cmon, let's not take steps backwards. You already know that argument and you lost it. Stay on course man. Name a name and give legitimate reasons and stop blathering on.
there is no argument
look at GGG's record for a so called p4p top 3 guy....its literally the worst of all time
Martin fvcking Murray is GGG's best win man...Martin Murray
We're not talking about best ever wins, we're talking about a guy staying on the p4p list for almost half a decade with ZERO world level wins or world title wins.
How does that work for you?
GGG'S best win is Martin Murray man,,Martin fvcking Murray
Andre Ward best wins are all disputed with foul play, GGG wins emphatically and has fans talking in awe.
It's too bad Ward had to duck GGG.
so, Smith and Barrera > Macklin, Murray, Geale and Lem?
Is that what you're trying to say? It's pretty pathetic when you know your wrong.
Those are GGG's best wins...lol...those are his career highlights?
The moment Ward gets on a plane and fights abroad is the moment people might actually give two sh1ts about that pathetic coward.
Ward blatantly ducked the fight with Bute he ducked Dirrell he ducked the rematches with Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler because he knew those two guys were and still are bigger draws than him and the fact he would have had to fight in another country, Ward would rather fight in a country which has continually show bias support to him even in the super six tournament EVERYONE but Ward travelled and fought away.
Here is another little pointer why he his career isn't better than Golovkins, in every big fight Ward has had he always puts on stinker of performances clinches on, elbowing someone to a stoppage, headbutting and whatever other 'tactic' he needs to use to get the win but people play this down people like you play this down and they call it boxing lol.
You know fine well with a fair referee calling the rules Ward would have likely been DQed in the Kessler fight and he'd have likely took a lot more punishment in the Froch fight.
Overall Ward really is a product of hype that hasn't been sold fans like you cling on but it won't make a difference win or loss over Kovalev nobody is going to care about him.
GGG'S best win is Martin Murray man,,Martin fvcking Murray
GGG has worst comp his entire damn career man stop trying to slam Ward and support a guy who has done nothing amazing his antire fvcking career.
so, Smith and Barrera > Macklin, Murray, Geale and Lem?
Is that what you're trying to say? It's pretty pathetic when you know your wrong.
the last 4 years Ward has been inactive and couldnt fight because of litigation, injuries, and surgeries, while you're hero hasnt fougth anyone worth a damn in a 10+ year career..whats the point5 of being so active and you dont fight anyone worth a damn?
why deflect on ward when you cant even admit that GGG has a crap resume and isnt even p4p material....beating never wases like Murray dont get you in elite company...or one hit wonders like Lemieux
Oh cmon, let's not take steps backwards. You already know that argument and you lost it. Stay on course man. Name a name and give legitimate reasons and stop blathering on.
