3 of his last 5 fighters were unification bouts in 2 seperate divisions..Canelo fight unified the WBC,WBA and the Ring title, LINEAL TITLE at 154...Maidana fight was for the WBC,WBA AND RING TITLE at 147...Pacquiao fight was for the WBA,WBA,WBO AND RING TITLE,LINEAL TITLE at 147..He retired as a unified champion in 2 divisions and lineal champion in 2 divisions...How many other fighters ended their careers on such a run like this??
I will list his entire Showtime deal
Guerrero-Meh but top 5 ww
Canelo-#1 FIGHTER AT 154 WBC,RING CHAMP
Maidana-WBA 147 CHAMP TOP 3 WW
MAIDANA REMATCH-lots of posters claimed he would not rematch him after such a tough 1st fight
Pacquaio- UNIFICATION BOUT FOR THE WBC,WBA,WBO,RING,LINEAL TITLES...FANS WANTED THIS FIGHT BAD HENCE THE 4.6 MILLION BUYS
Berto-sh1t fight
not to mention he wanted to fight khan but the backlash was enourmous for him to fight maidana funny how people forget this part of it then the rematch happened for obvious reasons
But you get salty when someone does the same to Mayweather's resume? Lel.
Manny is an ATG but Floyd's run since his return is clearly better...hell he beat Manny himself

Algeri-not ranked at 147

Watch the spin
Maidana only has one decent win over the overrated Broner, he lost badly to Khan/Alexander. So point is 3 of Floyd's last 4 wins (Berto and Maidana 1 and 2) weren't great.
Canelo fight was at a catchweight, Manny coming off KO loss.
If you wanna make a case for Floyd's greatness bringing up his last few fights doesn't help your argument.
Maidana=UNIFICATION BOUT
Manny was ko'd 3 years earlier and was still p4p #2 and it also was a unification bout
Canelo was also a unification bout
how can you knock this?
You mention Maidana's loses..whats your point???Manny was still p4p#2 and Canelo was the #1 fighter at JMW and 14 years younger then Mayweather

I'm not much of a Floyd fan but anybody who wants to say his resume isn't incredible are just lying to themselves. He has the best resume in the modern era, like it or not.
At the end of the day some people will try to discredit any win of his and wouldn't be satisfied until he loses. It's alright making excuses like "Pac is shot and faded though" - I'm not gonna say he's as good as he once was but a shot fighter doesn't beat Tim Bradley in his next fight. Most would consider Bradley a top 5 WW. No matter who Floyd beats, some will always find a way to discredit it. Beating Canelo, Maidana and Pacquiao in the space of about 18 months would be an incredible feat for most fighters, lets be honest.
It's logistically impossible to fight everyone at their peaks. Some are going to be past prime or green or have been beaten but it's that easy to do what Floyd did and remain unbeaten, why didn't more people do it?
The fighters of that era like Pac, Canelo, Cotto, JMM, etc..they all mixed it in one way or another, and took a loss from somebody yet Mayweather fought them all and stood alone unbeaten.
Maidana lost to Khan and Alexander. Canelo fight was at 152. Pacquiao fight happened 6 years too late. Berto fight was a disgrace. Guerrero/Ortiz were jokes.
Floyd's run at the lighter weights before he fought Oscar was actually much more impressive.

Not impressed, Floyd's last 4 opponents of his career had a record of 122-11-2 (Maidana twice)
For reference Ward's last 4 opponents were an incredible 101-6.

Actually, Canelo came in at 153.5 in his previous fight and as you admit, had to rehydrate quite a bit to get back up in weight. In that fight, Canelo looked sluggish and tired out easily and his work rate was quite low ..... plus he was green as far as competition is concerned. Now that is what even Floyd's team said.
As for coming in drained, so you are with me then is saying that Floyd was full of BS when he had to have the IV in the Manny fight?:
- Floyd weighed 150 at the 30 day mark
- Floyd weighed 149 2 weeks prior to the fight
- Floyd weighed 148.5 1 week prior to the fight
- Floyd weighed 146 at weigh in then drank enough fluids to rehydrate himself FULLY.
- Fight night comes in at 149
Just using some of your own words, "This is crazy man, a damn magician I say, he admits to making weight at WW for a decade easily and after drinking fluids, Floyd turned into a zombie and required an IV ....." :lol1:
.
Show me one quote from any person in Floyd's camp, USADA, or NSAC that ever said the words 'weight drained' with regards to Floyd's condition? Just ONE quote.
Coz I never heard anyone say that Floyd was weight drained, what they did say was that he was dehydrated, but they never said weight drained. Stirvirne was checked into hospital too after the Wilder fight for dehydration, but he sure as hell wasn't weight drained, he's a freakin heavyweight.
Get your facts straight, learn english, and learn medical terms, and then come back to me.
He was already an ATG when he un-retired but there were a lot of questions regarding his legacy. What he did from 2009-retirement is extremely impressive.
