Margarito was caught with plaster in his next fight and never knocked out anyone again........ Not a shred of proof he cheated against Cotto. However.....I firmly believe he did. Why would he go in against Cotto as almost even without cheating, but cheat (attempted) against Mosely who if I'm not mistaken he was favors against? I always liked Margs, but his "I didn't know nothing" excuse never sat well with me. As a fighter at any level, you know if you're doing something illegal.

I had to go out of town the next day after posting this. I wanted to give my appreciation for Cotto for the record I guess because he is one of my favorites and I got caught up talking **** to some dumb ass dksab mfers along the way. This right here. IMO, a lot of the critique thrown at Cotto is based on the fact that his fans continue to insist that his name gets mentioned with the true ATGs of his era (Mayweather, Pacquiao) when he's not on their level as far as skill, ability or accomplishment. Like I said before, in a Peyton Manning/Tom Brady Era, he's the Drew Brees: great career and surefire HOF, but not a generational fighter. And having his fans make excuses for his (at times) diva like behavior hasn't helped either. I like that comparison
