Hi all.. long time no see all that... Listen, this Matthysse-Provodnikov affair isn't screening down here in Australia. Does anyone know of any alternative viewing options, preferably in a private message? Many thanks in advance... CW
I agree not much power upstairs, but Bradley goes hard to the body. Pacman and Ruslan were slowed by his body shots. That's where those big biceps help.
What is the name of this bill?
"THE BRAWL FULL OF FIGHTERS THAT SHOULD HAVE RETIRED"
Is Fenech on it? Holyfield? Maybe Hatton will make a comeback comeback on it.
No, but talk in the article is he's rematching Graham Earl. So you're not far off. Last I heard the BBBC won't license Earl.
Amazing the hype a win over Macklin get's. Ward and Froch would destroy that guy too.
I agree. I think it's because Martinez went life and death with him and Golovkin didn't is the point of comparison. Macklin is ordinary and I suspect Sergio wasn't motivated, but he got the job done eventually.
Golovkin demolished him, but he's at a different point in his career to Sergio. If we ever get the Martinez-GGG fight you can't help but think we will get the best possible Sergio, but whether it's enough is up in the air. Dude is close to 40 and diminished physically, probably from fighting a weight class too high.
Pretty sure I read an article a few days ago where Matthysse says he's staying put at 140. His height, build and knock-out percentage reminds me of Kostya Tszyu who never moved north where he was likely vulnerable to bigger, stronger fighters. I see Matthysse as a career JWW. So many big money fights at his best weight why move north? I pick him over Garcia and Khan.
The rumour I heard was Shane gave up 80% of his fortune in paying out all future child care obligations, but that was before the Mayweather, Pacquiao and Canelo fights. So he was able to rebuild before he retired. RUMOUR.
A really disappointing year salvaged by Lopez-Salido 2 and Rios-Alvarado. It was a year of injuries, drug cheats, terrible judging and the best avoiding the best. Again.
