Now that the show finish, where do they eventually take this stream to? &..it will be preserved?
I'm new at the BoxingScene forum.
**Notice you are from...."brick city"? I'm at NEW BRITAIN, CT... that caught my attention. I'm ex boxer and was established at 156lb. If you know boxing..you realize that is Lightmiddleweight. Anyway..for my 8 th match pro they put me on undercard of Gilbert Dele WBA Lightmiddleweight defense against former Lightweight champ Vinny Pazienza. Card at Providence RI Civic Center. My 1 st x
ever boxing in RI State.
I'm marched that night vs "Lou Duva's Secret weapon" Frank Savannah who was 1-0-0 (KO). Frank is from Bricktownship, New Jersey.
Fat chances you are from his home town, hey??
Just was wondering.
Frank One Of the better boxers I got to go up against in a 40 ama. & 12 pro bout career.
Medina wants a rematch I think he should have gotten the decision.
DeGale didn’t say anything about wanting to fight Medina again.
I can’t blame DeGale if he never fights Medina again. No matter what Degale did Porky seems to be all over him. Medina threw an incredible 1,140 punches.
When was the last time you saw a fighter throw that many punches and wind up losing?
DeGale was a bit of a poor sport!
He's a 6 round fighter and gasses out after that, resorting to fighting in 20 second spurts. He was talking so much **** on Sky Sports about how he was going to go for the knockout, he ended up doing **** all
True... That's DeGale...
If that means getting hit when he shouldn't have, yeah sure.
DeGale always seems to make fights harder than they are, or he is not as good as some people think.
Medina was not discouraged one minute in the ring last night.

Care to comment on the 117 - 111 ?
I had 116-112, so a one point swing either way from that is not crazy to me.
I don't think 117-111 is outrageous because Jack's body work was consistent in every single round. They're not for show shots either, he's putting leverage into them. I score those kinds of body punches. So even when Bute got a round, it was pretty close(spare 1 or 2 rounds Bute clearly won). In a situation like that, sometimes there will be a wide score and it not be dishonest or incompetent. You must have felt it was too wide?
Believe me, I saw Bute as the one who had the center of the ring, and was often times trynig to come forward and be lively and press action, but he kept running into the body attack. He had to concede grounds for a while here and there and then came alive again. Bute was competitive, but Jack was too consistent for me to edge into feeling like it was Bute's fight except at the end. He definitely had some momentum and had the fight continued, he would have been in a good position...but slow momentum build isn't always reflected on the scorecard.
The best I could could up with if I tried is 115-113 for Bute. i'd more easily make it to 117-111 than 114-114
The benefit of this draw is that Zurdo will probably not be dropped to #3 by The Ring, so Jack/DeGale winner would likely need to beat Zurdo to get their recognition as lineal champ.
EDIT: Apparently Zurdo is already #3, was not aware of that.
Yeah he's #3 by the rimg , but they should switch him and Badou. Everyone else has Zardo at #2.
What I meant is that he stated he dominated, which is completely false ... I had 5 rounds for Bute... 3 clear rounds and two contested rounds... So 115 -113, far from "I clearly won" ... Two judges gave Bute another round... One little round ... Jack didn't do enough and gassed out after round 8... What else is there to say ?
You just explained it. You had 3 clear rounds for Bute. It's easier to get to117-111 than it is to get to 114-114. There just weren't enough rounds to give Bute a draw. Though, both are bad scores and these judges need reeducation.
Froch must punch like a freight train
- seeing Bute take all these punches in the last three fights he appears tougher than given credit for. The Pascal fight he was still timid, yes, but ever since he's pretty much back as a regular fighter even though he's coming up short. I suppose he's more of a gatekeeper now, or maybe that is how you felt about him the whole time, but looks like one has to be pretty good and experienced to beat him.
Jack- his balance is nice, I know the wrap on him is that he's solid all around but not great in one area but maybe it's his balance that is better than some others and it brings it altogether. Paulie made a similar point when he mentioned his posture and slight movement etc. I like any fighter who will commit to the body like Jack does so he's grown on me.
Scorecard-I had 116-112. With one round I mayybe could have given to Bute bring it to 115-113. Jack's body work was too consistent for me to do that, but I could see someone having 115-113. No way for 114-114
I like Badou Jack's balance too. He certainly won this fight,

Be reasonable, as bad as that may have been, the draw far far more odious.

Bute really is a good fighter, a tricky skilled operator.
I expected him to give Degale and Jack problems. But I did feel he lost both fights but he gave a great account of himself in both.
Still only Froch to this day who's destroyed him.
Not elite but he definitely isn't as bad as he was/is made out to be. Even now at 36 he is giving hell to the current best SMWs.
Froch bludgeoning him like that is impressive. He beat him from pillar to post.
One of the judges (an 80 year old man who subsequently retired) had Thompson v Ortiz a draw.
Lol, I wasnt aware of this, jesus boxing is corrupt as fuk.
