Hatton is a grown man who still has some fight left, everyone is quick to say a fighter is shot after one fight... Im expecting hatton to come in and murder malignaggi.
I love how some of these calzaghe haters try and say this wasnt a major win. Because it was, kessler is one of the best fighters in the world. Calzaghe is the only guy that can beat him in the division.
Pavlik late TKO in a real war. I am very impressed with his power, and he has shown heart fighting with a broken jaw in the first fight. I just dont see pavlik losing right now.
Abrahams power is remarkable but your all jumping the gun... He knocked out edison miranda who is deffinantly a tough fighter, but at this point thats really all he is.. a tough fighter. Theres alot more to boxing then power, and im not saying Abraham is one dimensional but to say that Abraham is going to KO KELLY PAVLIK based on this performance tonight doesnt do it for me.
He shouldve taken the miranda fight because he too wouldve easily knocked him out and the next day he would be known as the toughest fighter in boxing.
he hasnt been found guilty of anything yet... and if he had a hit out on him i bet it would have already happened im sure this isnt the first serious beef hes been in.
I think Tsyzu would have won a decision. Kostya always had problems with pressure fighters, but would have probebly been able to outbox Hatton. Much like he did with Ben Tackie, although Hatton would obviously have more success than Tackie.
I would be surprised if people thought Hatton would win. Tsyzu wasnt shot in the Hatton fight, but lets face it...he wasnt prime. and yet that fight was pretty close, Hatton was only ahead by a round or two at most. and that was the best Hatton Ive ever seen.
A physically better and more accurate Tsyzu would have had outboxed Hatton, but Hatton would probebly have his moments every once in a while
Exactly, Tsyzu would have still beaten all the top fighters in the division... But it was Hattons time, and on that night he was the better man. Dont discredit ricky hattons win over tsyzu, not many fighters would have been accomplish what he did that night.
Malignaggi vs Cotto 1st big fight i ever been to, really turned me into the sport
Hatton vs. Collazo The british at that fight were unbelieveable, great atmosphere
John duddy vs. Campas Like the british the irish were going fucking wild
Malignaggi vs ndou 1 Was decent to be there i won $750 at mohegan sun that night haha
Then i been to espn friday nights 4x
It's a 4-rounder at junior middleweight and very early in Kelly's career.
Pavlik goes almost down in the 2nd round because his chin is made of delicate fine china, but the ropes hold him up....he receives a standing 8... he is fucking hurt and goes on his motorcycle for the remainder of the round.
Bedburbick has a huge stamina problem and comes out for the 3rd literally spent. The ref intervenes after a barrage of punches in the 3rd, The stoppage was bullshit, Bedburbick is still standing.
Pavlik proves here again he can be hurt because he bought his chin from the same department store Miranda bought his from. Taylor, Zuniga, Mckart and now Bedburbick.
Loew is a shitty trainer to begin with and with Kelly "Made in China" glass chin....it won't be long b4 the elite take him apart...that jab, jab, right bullshit won't protect him forever.
i think pavlik gets hit 17-20 times here in the beggining and 7 or 8 of them are clean shots the fucking face... he gets RIGHT BACK UP.
Have you even seen Pavlik Taylor 1????
Pavlik takes this fight... if it goes to the scorecards its going to be a very wide decision imo. Kelly will take rounds for workrate and more punches landing and being thrown all night with Abraham having some moment but Abraham is not going to take kelly out im willing to bet the ranch on this the kid from youngstown has too much fire and heart inside of him.
