It's a 4-rounder at junior middleweight and very early in Kelly's career.
Pavlik goes almost down in the 2nd round because his chin is made of delicate fine china, but the ropes hold him up....he receives a standing 8... he is fucking hurt and goes on his motorcycle for the remainder of the round.
Bedburbick has a huge stamina problem and comes out for the 3rd literally spent. The ref intervenes after a barrage of punches in the 3rd, The stoppage was bullshit, Bedburbick is still standing.
Pavlik proves here again he can be hurt because he bought his chin from the same department store Miranda bought his from. Taylor, Zuniga, Mckart and now Bedburbick.
Loew is a shitty trainer to begin with and with Kelly "Made in China" glass chin....it won't be long b4 the elite take him apart...that jab, jab, right bullshit won't protect him forever.
Kelly's chin is fine and even if some wanna question it, he JUMPS up after the knockdowns to close the show the way he does. I really don't like people doing this, as another poster pointed out, because everyone has off rounds or even nights and some hater wants to try and exploit some far fetched flaw in that fighter. Just to lastly comment on whoever said Kelly's fans think he's unbeatable - well, you show me someone who is gonna - hands down - beat him at 160 - 168. Isn't gonna happen if you look at it on paper.
He wishes he could JUMP up after he feels aa's power :boxing:
I argee with u 100% WLAD OWNS....They make Pavlik out to be some type of monster but yet he can't get his act (chin) together against journeymen (Taylor notwithstanding) who have deposited him on the canvas.
Abraham, Kessler or Calzaghe will hopefully put an end to this farce.
Pick a different board to push your f.aggot sexual agenda, or atleast go to the lounge.

Now before Pavlik faced Miranda, Edison was considered THE hardest puncher in the MW division. Take a look, can't remember exact time, at when EM landed like 4 HARD shots flush on Kelly's chin and he walked right through them.
if pavlik has any weaknesses, its that he is too single minded and one-dimensional(which has been his strength thus far). I don't see any other flaws. his chin is tip-top if you ask me.
he was an open fighter before the knockdown in the first jermain taylor fight and he quickly changed that style and look what it has done for him since. he was open for shots against miranda and he took them really well and kept on pressuring till he got miranda. If pavlik has a weakness, his chin isn't it at all. in fact, I think his chin is one of his strengths.
and about his power, I think its overrated. I'm not saying he doesn't have any but he doesn't have 1 punch ko power. he gets tko's because he consistently lands accurate and damaging punches in the same spots throughout the fight. this breaks his opponent down(mostly their will power if you ask me) and when his opponents make a mistake he jumps on them like a predator with a higher volume of accurate and damaging punches to finish them off. if kelly has any power, its will power.
No K....his weakness is hs chin but as long as Arum keeps placing him with the Locketts of the world....Pavlik chin should be fine!!!
You made an excellent point kswizzy, it the fact that they make Pavlik out to be unbeatable that bother most people so his flaws must be brouht to light.
Every boxer has flaws...even Floyd but eveytime someone pitts Pavlik against another boxer...Pavlik win because he has power...
Floyd is a better boxer than Pavlik and even he doesn't garner that type of invulnerability

ok, whats with the nitpicking? thats so weak man. the guys record is something like 34-0 with about 30ko's. even if he ALMOST was dropped and had a couple of bad rounds in a couple of fights, who the F cares. is there a fighter in the HISTORY of boxing that you can't do that with? is there? I don't think so. every fighter has one little thing in some fight somewhere that can be picked on. It only takes a hater to bring that shit out. meanwhile, the rest of us non hateful boxing fans are enjoying boxing.

This guy is just a retarded f.aggot troll...Dont feed the troll!!
Anyone with at least 2 brain cells knows that Pavlik has a good chin.
Well as much as I dislike Pavlik WLAD OWNS...I will agree with you on one thing my friend....He and every boxer from 112 to heavyweight currently active has a better chin that Vladimir Klitchko.
He is the poster child for glass chins.
I just have a hard time accepting something that is so circumstantial. Its hard for me to believe someone has a bad chin having taken shots and knocking out the hardest puncher in his division and how long ago were the knockdowns outside of Taylor's? how many total? its just hard for me to go with the whole soft chin argument of someone who has been knocked down but no where close to being knocked out.
yea his chin has been tested plenty and he shows great resilience.
this poster mainly posts anti pavlik material I usually laugh because of the posted content and gay avatar and leave it at that im surprised anybody took this tranny serious.
Ok thats a pretty bad comparison because Taylor has been knocked out....cold pavlik has not. other than pavlik what other legitimate hard puncher has taylor fought? and outside of that one flurry which was about 17 to 20 flush shots taylor hit him with some other bombs later in the fight and they had no affect on pavlik can you explain that to me?
Pavlik chin is shitty!!!!
Alright. The joke's probably on me but an alt is an alternate account, meaning you only post under this account to stir things up.
Some people who have alts will talk a bunch of shit under the alt account so they can get people all wound up and pissed off.
No prob abosworth, this is my only account...I don't care for point..I don't use em. If u want them, I'll give them to u.
I know Pavlik has fans (don't understand why) but this thread is about his chin and is an acceptible boxing topic since Kelly chin has been shown to be less than immpressive.
lol dammit abosworth i have prolly seen you post a thousand messages and for some reason i ALWAYS have trouble focusing and reading what you have to say.
i agree his issues are more balance than chin. Against Edison miranda who is a proven power puncher he was extremely focused and took everything miranda had to offer. against taylor the only time he had problems is when he lost focus and tried to talk shit and got knocked down. and i always find it wierd when people use calzaghe and say he has a good chin he has also been knocked down and got up no faster than pavlik did and against bernard hopkins and eubanks who both at the time werent known as power punchers. Someone has yet to explain the difference when he got up from his knockdowns no faster than pavlik. please someone explain...please.
Royce, Jermain Taylor had horrible balance but has only been down once....with Pavlik, I think it's a chin issue not a balance one.
