Only Khan fans and people that dont know **** about boxing say that it was a lucky punch. He was throwing it all fight. I rewatched it last night and paid attention and he set it up from round one. :boxing: I hate khan and enjoyed watching him get beat down but that was about 30% luck, i mean that monster hook he threw he closed his eyes and even turned his head away..... He wasnt even wat hing he just knew it was towards khans direction. Thats luck, skill is watching mayweathet throw punches while keeping his eyes on his opponent... Man I agree with you 100% but its still the only fight that would be entertaining for me to watch since they have both mostly cleaned out their promotional camps. he'll give him a good fight, but his chances of winning have long since diminished. Rios is a guy Pacquiao would have stopped a few years ago. He was hurting Rios with every punch he threw, there were plenty of times Pacquiao spun him and could have jumped on him and layed into his face. this is how he busted up DLH and Cotto, he hits you really hard, makes you cover up, spins you.when you open up to see whats going on he hits you again and overwhelms you. Marquez figured this out and he never lets pac spin him, he caught him coming in the last time. By removing this ability out of safety however, Pacquiao took away one of his biggest strengths. A lot of fights wont be able to time that, Marquez spent 4 fights figuring that shot out..... Then again he's almost 35 and physical fighters should change their styles. so maybe its a good thing

Not sure why posters keep saying that fight was a robbery...if you watch it and score it round by round, yes it was a close fight...but how can Robbery be used? I didn't think the fight was close the last time I scored it, robbery was right in my opinion. In Floyd's defense though to be honest (and I HATE Floyd) I do believe he was either mentally side tracked or just had his only off night, I have never seen him fight that bad for 12 rounds.

If this was any other ranking sport, froch would be ahead, but because of the close head to head loss, froch is behind. With froch fighting degale or chavez junior either in Jnauary or nov, he would have fought 6 times to wards 2 opponents. With better competition. So who you have as number 1? Poll coming. Andre Ward hasn't actually won a SMW fight since September 2012, the Rodriguez fight was a non-title bout at 170lbs. Rodriguez was #7 or #8, he wasn't even a top 5 guy at SMW. Shannon Briggs and Roy Jones Jr. are more active than Andre Ward of late. How long do you get to hold onto the #1 spot? Unless he fights by November, Ward will lose the spot to Froch. Bump this Khan goes 7 at the most and thats only because Canelo doesn't like short fights. Canelo stops khan in the 6th or 7th, Khan may pitter pat and tag Canelo all night but he cant fight his natural reaction to exchange which is his biggest downfall and when he eats the canvas.

first off as much as I hate Mayweather, he is an excellent businessman so if he offers 40 million he knows damn well he will make triple that amount himself. I mean come one it would make a ridiculous amount of money and he knows it, thats why he was willing to pay out of his own pocket before even starting training. The point that is being forgotten is that, from all of the revenues generated, before Mayweather even sees a penny of anything, $40 million comes off of the top and goes to Pacquiao. Even if the fight did generate $120m in fighter revenues, that gets cut $40m, full stop. Pacquiao: $40m Mayweather: $75m-$80m Basically a 65/35 split to Mayweather, but not all that bad for Pacquiao, if folks want to be honest about the numbers that each guy draws.

This is crazy amount of money, cristiano ronaldo lebron james and all these other athletes are on ESPN 24/7 and they come nowhere close to him. I like Pacquiao but there is no way he should be asking for a 50/50 split. He almost doubled Pacquio's earning of 41.5 million. Boxing is not dead after all.
