he'll give him a good fight, but his chances of winning have long since diminished. Rios is a guy Pacquiao would have stopped a few years ago.
He was hurting Rios with every punch he threw, there were plenty of times Pacquiao spun him and could have jumped on him and layed into his face. this is how he busted up DLH and Cotto, he hits you really hard, makes you cover up, spins you.when you open up to see whats going on he hits you again and overwhelms you.
Marquez figured this out and he never lets pac spin him, he caught him coming in the last time. By removing this ability out of safety however, Pacquiao took away one of his biggest strengths.
A lot of fights wont be able to time that, Marquez spent 4 fights figuring that shot out.....
Then again he's almost 35 and physical fighters should change their styles. so maybe its a good thing
its a legacy defining fight for both of them. to say that say that boxer A does that belong to the ring with boxer B is just silly. many would consider this a fight of the century. this will be included in their autobiography. the payday will be used to pay for the unavoidable tax evasion case that will be filed against both boxer in the future.
I am gonna point this out to everyone here...again! Manny looked good last night because of who was in-front of him. He'd just needed to be Manny last night to win. He didn't need to adjust, think or anything in the ring, just be in rhythm and does what he does best.
On the other hand, everything he did last night can and will be disrupted by a technical fighter-Jabs, feints, angles, footwork, head movements, counter-punching, etc. All this will have him gun shy and frustrated. Last night was akin to training on a punching bag, where you look for nothing coming back. There is a reason they chose Rios and not Bradley. People are too gullible these days. This fight was to restore confidence in his fan-base and sponsors.
Rios was chosen for this reason. Hes a punching bag that Pac can look good against. He doesnt belong in the same ring as Floyd.
I agree with the bolded but I'd rather see Floyd fight Pac than Khan for many reasons.
Shoulder roll won't work with Pacs left hand that slants to his right with his movement to the right Floyd would have to box differently like he did against Corrales. Floyd will also need to make sure he's on his HGH
If you knew something about this sport, you would know floyd doesnt use the shoulder roll against southpaw since a long time.
Man I agree with you 100% but its still the only fight that would be entertaining for me to watch since they have both mostly cleaned out their promotional camps. he'll give him a good fight, but his chances of winning have long since diminished. floyd would fight him behind a high guard same as he did with judah ,head movement and feet movement would cause pac some problems.
but like someone said pac still is floyd's biggest challenge.
Void is one step ahead of his Flloomos.
Flloomos say the CatchWeight King Void CatchWeather will beat PAC with ease but CatchWeather himself see otherwise. CatchWeather has other plan and that's to avoid PAC at all cost.

It's still a style Floyd has never faced before. I would like to see how he deals with it win or lose. Pac has the speed power and odd angles to give Floyd problems.
He never stood a chance hence why he ducked floyd
look here fl0mo floyd is the one who ducked manny, how dare he ask "fighter of the decade and 8 time champion" the pride of the Philippines to take random drug testing...that was a cowards way out now listen to this
Pacquiao is still the biggest challenge for mayweather. Why would anyone not wanna see that?
I'd see it for sure, but it would be stupid hearing people say I told you so when the man has clearly lost something.
He's got a chance because his left hand is the fastest punch in boxing still, but Mayweather is still at his peak and in top mental form.; Pacquiao is an old warrior with some gifts.
Come on man he just dominated a top fighter in Rios who would easily beat cherry picked fighters like Guerrero and Canelo. Manny put on an exciting boxing clinic and knockouts are overrated. Manny should be back p4p top 2 or 3 with his amazing win last night
