Floyd would probably win a 116-112 affair, the fleet footed Floyd from corrales would be able to keep him at bay, but if Chavez got in close it would be a drawn out affair similar to castillo 1, with chavez being able to bully floyd against the ropes in spots.
Keys to Victory for Fury
-Get inside with a progressive jab to the body, chest and head and work on the inside, dig to wlads body, empty the gas tank on him.
- Counter effectively on the outside, fury has size so use it with clever footwork. Make wlad throw but miss and counter his vicious right with his own jab or right cross.
- Be rough on the inside (away from the refs vision, hit his hips, slow the legs down.
I think these are the keys to victory for Fury on Saturday night
with all that being said however, Wlad is a master technician, controls range, varies the jab in attack and defense, uses head control, controls the pace and can end you with both fists.
Its a big ask against one of ATG heavyweights, i still have Wlad winning this, going to study some more and give final prediction in a few days.
Is the current heavyweight champion not a fighting man ? the guy hasn't lost in over 11 years, has held a title for more than a decade. To me he is a proven fighting, more so than the 22 fight Tyson Fury, surely a fighting man faces all challenges like Klitschko has, not avoided certain challenges like Fury has for instance when the big hitting Price was evidently pursuing Fury.
Of course Wlad is a fighting man, I just think Fury may have the an advantage in that department when it gets rough in a fight. Wlads one of my favourite boxers but Fury is more of a fighter and weve seen him go down and get back up to grind out the win (I know Wlad did against Peter too).
I merely stated he was a fighting man in jest as he always calls himself a fighting man, chill out dude.

Most likely Garcia as no one has heard a peep from team garcia in a while, i dont know if maidana gets the rematch to be honest but never know. I think Cotto will probably wait until a possible fight with Alvarez due to the Mexican vs Peurto Rican rivalry.
i think algeiri gonna take this on points, he does alot of veteran moves like tieing up his opponent when hes in danger and has pretty sound footwork and good punch output to discourage provodnikov imo. I think he might shock alot of people in this fight, just depends how good his chin is also, iv seen him kod in kickboxing from a punch but it looked like a stupid amatuer mistake by algeiri. Algeiri on points, possibly wide for me.
Well wasnt wide but damn im glad i put money on him to win :) nice £2000 won!!!!

I think in terms of excitement he should face canelo if he beats lara. That would be a brilliant fight, both exciting fighters 50/50 fight at the moment but i wouldnt be mad seeing him fight mayweather again, might be closer this time round?
and yet again broner shows us why hes such a dick, man its hard to like this guy, maybe he should stop posting videos like this and go back to trying to blow floyd, never stops talking about him
Canelo has to pressure lara sort of like cotto did against martinez as laras work rate isnt that great. He has to implement angulo tactic with head movement to get his left hook into play and i think he will win the fight.
Only problem is when canelo is aggressive he tends to tire as hes an explosive fighter, hopefully he can control the pace and push lara against the ropes with intelligent pressure.
As people say before gonna be hard for lara to win this on points as the cotto clash is only around the corner. Might even put some money on the draw if its close :ugh:
I thought canelo before the martinez fight but i think his experience plays a key role and movement. Its a close one to call right now but cotto is looking refreshed and canelo still has a tendency to tire in the middle rounds. Il go with cotto on SD
prepare to be disappointed with whoever he fights next, my guess is danny garcia as theres no talks of him fighting anyone. The ppv wont do well also as theres really no name he can possibly fight to generate the interest unless cotto wants to fight (highly doubt that soon).
Thurman would be schooled by mayweather, his style wont cause to much trouble, now thurman vs maidana id like to see, hopefully on the undercard.
if he loses its back to the drawing board, hell come again but like most fighters and build his record to 20 wins and will be champion, needs professional experience thats all. Unless he gets KO'd badly then all depends on his mindset after.
I agree with you completely. If he loses, he will still have a future, he would just have to start like every other pro has, and get wins, more pro experience, and see how he looks. JSDF is a stubborn poster who dislikes being wrong. A debate is cool but you gotta know when to fall back and realize okay maybe I am wrong on this one.
What this guy said here in bold ^^
Tyson getting dismantled by Lennox, was 13 at the time and DKSAB then, my parents and older bros would always let me stay up for his fights as a kid. I could have sworn Tyson was going to KO lewis (what a fool i was)
Naz losing to Barrera too was a tough one lol, loved watching Naz during the late 90s, just got Sky tv aswell, was one and still is one of my favourite fighters to watch ever.
If he turns out to be as overrated as Frank Bruno was, I will be incredibly disappointed.
Haha yeah me too, I hope he does well, but in the UK people need to stop thinking the HW champ should be a Body Builder.
I wouldnt say he didnt pass it, i say he freezes when he gets hurt similiar to Bruno. He came back well, kept his composure during the fight, however Dillian simply didnt throw the right shots.
Whyte got too caught up in destroying Joshua, he forgot to compose himself, throw the short shots inside and measure his long shots on the outside, which in turn allowed Joshua to re compose himself.
Pros;
Solid power - Whyte fell the full force of it
Composed himself - during the attack on him
Went 7 rounds (still wary about his stamina)
Cons;
Stamina - Whyte simply gassed himself too so was easier for him to keep energy
Footwork- after he got hit, he looked amatuerish in his approach
Range of punches with a moving target- he seems to throw the 1-2 over and over again, need more variety.
Needs to remould his body- that extra muscle is not doing him favours, slim the upperbody and then youll have a more complete fighter
He needs fluidity in his movement, its ok when the opponent is not on his level, but at world level someone will put him out unless he works on these things IMO. Slim down, gain stamina and ring experience which he CAN STILL DO!
Hes only 26, no more talk of Fury, **** if Haye has anything left, hell do a job on him, i saw him chomping at the bit in the commentary haha.
Against Alexander i loved his performance but before and after that im not much a fan of his style. The guy works his ass off though, got a lot of grit and determination to win. He tries to box but his skillset is based around his ability to close distance and rough house fighting to win.
He will give any top fighter a run for their money though no doubt, cant fault a guy who works his ass off to become better.
Berto looks horrible against fighters who don't give him room, Garcia will give him all the room he needs so it's gonna be a tough fight for Danny. Garcia still comes out on top in the end.
I think itll be a decent fight for tv, bonus for Garcia is he gets a legit WW in the ring which then propels him to fight guys like Thurman, Porter or Brook who are fully fledged.
Hagler - Hagler breaks him down, gets him on the backfoot and takes him out late between 7-10
Hearns - Hearns by close points, both get dropped.
Duran- Back and forth but GGG size too much and outpoints duran
Leonard - Another back and forth but the smarts of Leonard prevail and take him to a close but clear decision victory by pushing GGG on the backfoot.
It's only Hayes second fight back and Shannon Brigg talks a lot and has brought himself some attention so how is this a disgrace?
Eitherway Haye beats both Briggs and Scott easily.
Sorry but who the hell has briggs beat since he got his ass handed to him by Vitali? He needs rounds and im sorry but Briggs will be kod in 1 by haye so we will be stuck in the same scenario after the demori fight.
Wouldnt mind it being at a huge stadium but that Vegas money will be huge for this fight. Im guessing if it was at the Cowboys stadium they could get 60,000.
If he was to comeback, im guessing it will be Canelo rematch in September or May next year (if Canelo beats GGG) for middleweight title at 155. GGG would be a huge risk for Floyd and the Pacquiao rematch would be meh same thing as last time.
I like GGG, but I don't think it would be as huge of a risk as others do. The way people build him up, you'd think he was the second coming of Mike Tyson. Not that 34-0 with 31 KO's is anything to dismiss, but still. Mayweather's superior speed and reflexes combined with his overall defensive wizardry would almost certainly take him to a Unanimous Decision on that one.
As much as id like to agree with you on Mayweather/GGG ive got to say it would be a tough fight for Floyd due to size, GGG ring IQ is very good too (im not a big fan of his style btw)
I think Floyds punches wouldnt be as effective against GGG, the weight difference would be significant factor in the fight, it would be a rough fight similiar to the Maidana first fight. Not saying he couldnt outpoint him, hes an elite boxer, id love to see him beat GGG then id have no problem putting him at number 1 ATG.
