Carl Froch couldn't wash Joe Calzaghes Boxers

Styles make fights. Froch can be outboxed, even Groves did it, and so did Taylor, Kessler and Dirrell. Froch would find it hard to hit Cal and Calzaghe was not someone that is easily KO'd. So you admit it's kind off a toss up now? I agree with the bolded above. I just think that after the Super 6 tournamnet I gained a lot more respect for Froch.

I thought Lacy was an exposure fight...Did that not get Joe's name on th emap here in the States? I mean i did not know who Calzaghe was until I saw that fight. Besdes I still think Froch couldn't wash Joe's boxer shorts anyways....Lefty Nobody did prior to the Lacey fight. Nobody gave Joe a chance in that fight because they assumed he was just another European bum so WHY would they? Lacey was the never has been. He was overly hyped by most all. Point is even after that fight Joe was a nobody. The Manfredo fight was supposed to be the second coming exposure fight due to a "TV STAR". Didn't work. He was horribly laughed at by most everyone I knew including me. He didn't get any exposure stateside until Hopkins bad mouthed him. He was laughed at even more once he "beat" an old man. Calzaghe did interviews with Steve Bunce and said very openly "I'm bored of these kind of fights, I can't get up for it at all." The fact that he got a good pay day sweetened the deal, but the main intention was to get Joe's his name out there to the USA boxing fans, that's all. Manfredo = American People's Champ, babiez !! Froch is limited, no doubt. Froch would have a better shot at hitting Joe with something big than he did Dirrell. Calzaghe squared up a lot and was open to an uppercut. If Froch has a chance at landing his 'Cobra Sting' ("the uppercut if you like") on any world class opponent, it would probably be Joe - but Joe takes them well. You'd still strongly favor Calzaghe, whatever. Are you serious? "The COBRA STING". If he couldn't "STING" a "GREEN", never been tested, never fought anyone, never did this, never did that, never won a championship, never never never, type contender. Calzaghe brings back the "Mortal Combat" and puts a "FINISH HIM" move in the very first round by way of super slap windmill punch. Ref jumps in just like he did vs Manfredo and stops the fight..... that or Froch gets DQ'ed when he's completely frustrated and has no other option but to fight dirty as he did vs The "GREEN" Dirrell. The fight ends early and it will be more disappointing than knowing it will never happen in the first place. I'm also waiting on what Calzaghe has to say about the fight... Think about this......There is a reason the punch stats for Froch Dirrel aren't released..... the truth would be out.... incompetent judging officials, and add the ref to the list. I think he was confused the entire night as well.
