Broner mocks "boring" Cotto vs Martinez fight

No clue why everything on this site has to boil down to Pacquiao and Mayweather. I would expect this catty **** from little girls and casual fans but not from people who actually follow boxing like they do on here. The fight wasn't good. It was sad to see past prime Sergio getting beat down. Just like I'm sure people felt about any great fighter who reached that point in their career. But I guess "trolling" which isn't executed very cleverly is accepted on here. lol.

It was one sided which usually means boring yes, but it was unexpectedly one sided because the side doing the whipping isn't the favorite one which is never boring on the shock factor alone.

Watched it a couple of times, don't think I'll watch it again. Like I said, picked Cotto, rooted for Cotto, expected him to do well but it was an all around sad fight to watch. Murray already beat Martinez, had him looking horrendous and Cotto is levels above Murray.

The right word for this fight is Sad to see a Maravilla with no legs try and win a fight against a guy like Cotto. If he was healthy it would of been a great tactical fight. After the first round, you knew Sergios career was over. Miracle one punch knockouts happen but not for fighters with bum knees.

I wouldn't say boring, however the fight was underwhelming from the competitive war many of us were expecting. These fights are hard to watch, when a fighter looks completely old/shot and unhealthy.

There were plenty disappointed in the way the fight went. Has nothing to do with broner. He is a tool. But he's absolutely right here. I have no interest in seeing guys looking like punching bags. Sergio was an amazing fighter at one time. That thing last night was a shell of Sergio Martinez. It kind of drills home the point that people are more concerned with watching a circus show than a competitive boxing match. It reminds me a bit of the bull vs the matador: how they bleed the bull and keep it darkness, so it is blind and weakened; people don't give a ****, they just want to see the end result. I personally found the fight difficult to watch. In hindsight it shouldn't have happened.
