Usyk ducking Wardley is comical. He's not worth Usyk's time. AJ will be fighting Wardley for the "world title" that Eddie keeps referencing. Assuming AJ can get past Wardley (questionable), he'll be facing Tyson Fury in September for the WBO world title in Wembley. Plainly obvious to me that this is the gameplan for AJ / Eddie.
B-Hop diving against Chad Dawson. De La Hoya going down from B-Hops liver shot. Malik Scott vs Wilder. And of course my personal favorite - Kermit Cintron shaming his native Reading PA by literally diving out of the ring once The Punisher started lighting him up.
you can make that same arguement for Canelo. GGG,Kovalev, Cotto,Mosley, Floyd....were all over 35 years old when Canelo decided he wanted to fight them and those are the biggest names on his resume period. Canelo and his team intentionally waited Golovkin out. Like cmon now, your calling the kettle black.
I agree with you. Canelo is like Floyd in that he is a very highly skilled cherry picker. At least Canelo's fights are more entertaining than Money May's were. I'm not here to defend Canelo!
If he moves to heavyweight maybe. Anything is possible. Just remember that Floyd took to school possibly two fighters of the decades. That is insane.
It was done in typical Mayweather fashion, at the right time. Oscar was old and clearly slipping and Canelo was young and not ready for that kind of fight. Mayweather is the most cautious fighter ever inside the ring and also in booking his fights.
Coward.
Tehran is behind nearly 100 attacks on Saudi Arabia while Rouhani and Zarif pretend to engage in diplomacy. Amid all the calls for de-escalation, Iran has now launched an unprecedented attack on the world’s energy supply. There is no evidence the attacks came from Yemen.— Secretary Pompeo (@SecPompeo) September 14, 2019
Yeah the TIMING is not looking good AT ALL! I love boxing but not that damn much :nonono:
Iran would have to be totally suicidal to go to war with the Saudi's. That means going to war with America. And THAT means having your nation occupied and leaders killed off.
yeah but the nato and eu are growing tired of america, who knows what allies will turn on them... Then you have russia and china, things are not the same but its still a very dangerous war for iran to get in.
I think Russia and China will sit it out as usual, like the punks that they are. We have them both surrounded on air, land, and sea. They don't want none!
When you compare the crime rates of here in America vs Saudi Arabia, you'll see that Saudi Arabia is MUCH safer.

Crawford is a welterweight yet his reach is 74in that’s longer than some light-heavies and cruiserweights like Bivol and Badou Jack lol.
His height is also deceptive he looks huge in the ring.
Combined with his skill, I think he washes Canelo easy.
I wonder what Bud's arm length is. Reach can be deceptive. Does anyone have this info from back when he fought on HBO? They used to always measure the arm length.
The fight may be at 156 pounds 'Like De La Hoya vs Hopkins etc'
Let's hope if it ever happens that it's not staged like De La Hoya vs Hopkins was.
"Bodyshot! Bodyshot! Bodyshot!"
Lol.
Extra baggy clothes died out in the mid-2000s here in America. The kids have been wearing really tight clothes for about a decade now. Hopefully, that stupid trend dies soon too.
It looks like flicking and slapping punches to me.
Do you think he could really have gotten away with not putting the gloves on properly? The whole world is watching, including the commission and Wilder's team.
Left a bad taste in my mouth, ggg clearly won the first fight with output and consistent pressure. Canelos fought in bursts but not enough to warrant a draw. I had it 8 - 4 ggg.
Second fight alvarezs output increased but ggg still outlanding and more consistent i had it 7 - 5 ggg.
In before canelo nut huggers storm in, i admire alvarezs skill and change of tactics in the rematch but i feel he did not produce a dominant enough performance to take the belts.
I came up with the same scores that you did upon first viewing these fights. I haven't gone back to watch them since they first aired but we saw both of them the same way.
I just finished this like 20 minutes ago. Great to hear Emanuel Steward's voice and to hear him go in-depth on this history of the heavyweight division. Awesome content from Rummy.
I’d rather turn up, try and get stopped than turn up like a fat pig because i couldn’t be bothered training and basically surrender the titles Because i’m in no shape to fight
Deontay (excuses aside) went out like a fighter. Ruiz can’t say the same.
I get your point and I agree.
However, I feel that even if Ruiz got in the best shape of his life Joshua would win the rematch using the style he fought with. Too tall, long, and mobile for the flat-footed and comparatively squat Andy Ruiz.
Was funny to see Joshua doing his best Ali impression though.
Are you accusing me of lying?

This video is what happened. Your picture is a freeze frame and does not show the truth. He hit Wilder on the ear and the fist then slid back behind his head (as Wilder was ducking).
This is HILARIOUS. So THIS is your excuse this time around. Previously it was the "slow count" (which wasn't a slow count, but somehow a perfect count). Now you are saying Wilder got concussed from an illegal punch.
He got hit on the ear and then the fist slid to the back of Wilder's head after the impact. Wilder was ducking his head and turning sideways to avoid the punch but failed massively.
Of course it’s a lowball they’re just using Ortiz name to generate some attention for AJ. They never wanted to fight him or else they would of at least offered Ortiz the same purse as Miller. Why offer a fighter a lower number to fight on a short notice. Doesn’t makes sense but like old man Bob said Hearn has absolutely no idea what he’s doing.
^ THIS. How can you offer Ortiz less money than Big Baby Miller, a NOBODY?
Yeah the 10 million is a negotiating number. Ortiz would settle in the middle. He's definitely worth more than Big Baby Miller. New York City knows who Ortiz is after the great fight with Wilder. Miller hasn't done jack.
