Off Course Canelo can surpass Floyd, its a two way street, the more Canelo does the better Floyds win over him looks, to a point, then it moves into better than Floyd realm and this diminishes Floyds win over him.

Other than when he faced Mayweather I've always rooted for Canelo, I'd like to say yes he does but I don't see it, Mayweather had too many performances where he looked every bit the best fighter of his era.

Not on money for sure. I think Canelo has 3 years max, his body is going to breakdown, his knee already is giving him issues. He'll probably be done by 32, not enough time to surpass Mayweather. He won't be a beast at 168 unless he ignores true 168 lbers and makes 160lbers go up in weight.

it does, but hallow accomplishments like being champ in 3 divisions, when one of the titles isn't real, isn't what elevates him above mayweather. we know what's meaningful and what isn't. he really isn't far off tho. when the serious conversation starts about who's done more, the mayweather fanboys who say canelo's achievements serve to bolster Floyd's legacy, will turn on canelo. you can make that same arguement for Canelo. GGG,Kovalev, Cotto,Mosley, Floyd....were all over 35 years old when Canelo decided he wanted to fight them and those are the biggest names on his resume period. Canelo and his team intentionally waited Golovkin out. Like cmon now, your calling the kettle black. I agree with you. Canelo is like Floyd in that he is a very highly skilled cherry picker.
