I had Maidana winning rounds 1,3,4,6 and 12. Floyd 2,5,7,9,10 and 11. With the 8th at 10-10 giving Floyd the win at 115-114. You could possibly swing the 8th round for Marcos depending on how you saw it making it a draw.
Styles do make fights and Rios's style is all wrong for Floyd. You can't shoulder roll a guy throwing 100 punches a round
He didn't even try the shoulder roll against Maidana. He was backing up with a high guard until his back was on the ropes. You know what works against a high guard? A Uppercut, one of Rios's best punches.
If Rios backs Floyd up (which he will) hes gonna body him up (which he will)
And I didn't have Maidana vs Floyd as a close fight. It was a clear 9-3 (8-4 if your being generous for Floyd) win for Maidana.
Maidana and Rios are closer than alot of dudes with red bar on here think. And you add in the punchers gloves and its easy work for Rios.
First off after last Saturday I don't think we're gonna see Floyd fight as flat footed as he just did. Just like if there is a rematch you will see Floyd moving all over the ring (what most people call running) so in my humble opinion Rios won't land and we watch a boring UD. 9-3, even 8-4 is extreme maybe 7-5 at best vs Maidana but we're all entitled to our own ooinion. Cmon Check.....it was a close fight and you said yourself styles make fights. Rios is not the fighter Maidana is. He's extremely slow and turns into a punching bag if you don't slug with him.
Cause talking shyt and getting dropped like a bad habit and balling up like a girl and running out the gym makes you a warrior...This site is getting ridiculous.
I like Garcia and he's one of my favorites but this is a cherry pick. Only fighter who should be mentioned for September is Maidana. Unless its about doing more ppv's than the last fight, it doesn't make sense to me.

ward doesn't fight enough to be #1. There's some credibility to it, doe. Floyd went life and death with a C level fighter. Ward takes out the trash when it comes to fighters at maidana's level.
Bika gave Ward a much harder fight than we all anticipated and I'm sure he's C level also. It just happens sometimes.
