I wouldn't say Diaz destroyed McGregor but for a guy who has clear brain damage Diaz definitely got McGregor with a few good one liners and got into his head. I agree with you that Conor's best trash talk came against guys who either didn't speak English at all or spoke very little English. We also have to remember that a lot of Conor's usual antic won't work. He can't argue that he is the richer guy like he usually does and he can't claim to be the better boxer. Conor definitely has a crisper mouth piece than Floyd but Floyd has a lot of tools in his arsenal as well when it comes to trash talk and is the far more successful man of the two.

I don't know, Floyd has the edge. He's undefeated in his sport, he makes more money in his sport. Plus Floyd would never lose to a boxer coming off a 1 week training camp, and McGregor did lose to a fighter just getting off the couch. And also seeing the Diaz-McGregor pre fight hype it looked like Diaz got under McGregor's skin while clearly sounding like he has speech issues. McGregor is not like Hopkins, or Ali or anything like that. He's pretty mediocre. He's like a poor man's Mayorga.
