Wtf!!?? How?. He did not appear to be in poor health.

I didn't even see the news he was ill. Sad times. From what I've read he's still with us, but very ill. Good trainer and comes across as a real character. I hope things go as easy as possible for him and his family.

very sad to hear. wasnt the most tactful of guys but he did well to get his son, just a guy form newbridge, to eventually challenge for a major world title aged 34 against lacy, and win it with style. Though lacy was an appalling champ. sorry my bad, hope he recovers.

At least for now, at this moment, he isn't deceased. That's a bogus news story that unfortunately has spread a good bit in England, and a little bit here in the states. He is in critical condition, but is fighting it, according to a family member. Hopefully he pulls thru. :boxing:

i was critical of joe to a certain degree...but one cant deny his ability...still never forget that night i watched him and lacy "hes ****...hes ****"....."your the #1 p4p fighter in the world" his dad told him.....RIP

Someone called Carrie Calzaghe claiming to be Enzos own family are saying he's not dead he's just ill. where's that? i know that he is ill but won't go into details on here out of respect, so the news didn't seem that surprising.

Always one of the more fun, charismatic and passionate trainers to watch in a corner, and my favourite father–son team. He will be missed.
