To be honest none of the names you've mentioned don't really excite me in terms of matching them up w/ Klitschko. The likes of Helenius and Wach need more time and experience, so putting them in w/ Klitschko at this stage would be counter intuitive. Others like Povetkin want none of that. Then a lot of the others have been beaten by either Wlad or Vitali, or its so plainly obvious that they would that just like Mormeck its not an exciting match up.
Obviously a **** fight, but its indicative of where the heavyweight division is at in terms of legitimate contenders

Lets put it this way. I'm not gonna take A LOT less money to fight Provo than Tim Bradley did. I've been in war after war. I'm just as good."
What did Bradley make for the Prov fight?
Anyone know know what Rosado's purse was for the Golovkin fight? Seems strange that Love is getting paid more but I expect Rosado to win this one and move on to better things
Styles make fights. Many saw the Aydin fight as being a 50:50 fight in the run up due to Aydin's big power and Guerrero making the jump to Welterweight. He then went on to beat Berto better than Ortiz did.
Certainly you have to pick Mayweather as the favourite but no doubt Guerrero is a live dog
I don't think I'd favour anyone over him from 160-175 but that doesn't mean there aren't interesting fights for him in the future. Guys like Cloud, Kovalev, Cleverly, Groves, Stevenson, Bute, Kessler, Froch and Bika could certainly keep him busy for a few years and add to what is already a very good resume :boxing:
I'm sure you happily watched Matthysse-Dallas, Donaire-Arce, as well as a bunch of other "predictable" fights. This is about something else, you just don't like Broner. No need for no fake ass bullsh*t excuses.
Donaire-Arce wasn't as much of a mis-match. Donaire's fight with Wilfredo Vazquez Jr was fairly competitive who Arce beat around a year and a half prior.
I'd agree with your take on Matthysse-Dallas but remember that was a fill in fight.
To be fair to Broner the list isn't very deep at Lightweight. He's already beaten Demarco, Burns and Vazquez are already signed up to fight each other same with Abril and Bogere. Hopefully he can fight the winner of Burns-Vazquez and then move up.
Don't get me wrong I like Adamek, but tonight proved he has no business at heavyweight. Wins against Sanders, Peter, and Solis were far more impressive at heavyweight. You also have consider how convincingly he handled these guys
Assuming Pacquiao and Mayweather are gone in 3 years.
(1) Whoever comes out on top of 140, Khan or Alexander I reckon
(2) Lucian Bute (I see him beating Ward after Super Six)
(3) Paul Williams
(4) Wladimir Klitschko (After putting a brutal beating on Haye)
(5) Gamboa
all of this because Cotto beat youri Foreman I swear people never learn
Exactly man, he only beat Yuri Foreman. It's strange how every after Cotto-Foreman is going on about how Foreman is rubbish and how Cotto is great. Paul Williams would eat Cotto alive, and his resume is better. I think people are forgetting that Foreman is a light puncher, Cotto wasn't tested by a high pressure fighter who can hit and so we shouldn't be making any assumptions about where he's at at 154
Neither of them, its a joke. Margarito got killed by Mosley, Cotto got killed by Pacquaio, they both need more wins if they want to challenge Manny. Timothy Bradley would be a better fight, either that or marquez at 140 pounds
I think Ortiz takes it, more power at 147 and now he'd have something to prove. That being said Maidana wouldn't back down and it'd be one hell of a war
I don't really get this whole Carl Froch being p4p thing:
He lost to Kessler (close fight but he lost).
Very close fight with Dirrell.
Obviously he shut out Abraham, but based on Abraham's run in the Super 6 is that really all that special?
He beat Taylor, but Taylor got beaten by Kelly Pavlik twice and AA in around the same time period.
He didn't exactly shut out Glen Johnson.
Mad props to him for fighting first class opposition often etc. and being entertaining but I don't see him as top 10 p4p stuff, He isn't dominating the division or his opposition. In all honesty Ward should be ranked higher p4p and I really wouldn't be able to fit him into a top 10 list
Actually hold that thought. We may need to start another super 6 with Froch, Kessler, Pavlik, Bute, Dirrell, and Ward (with this time Dirrell actually fighting Ward)
