Let see some stats while Pacman been moving up in weight
*David Diaz won his last fight before fighting Pacman.
*Oscar won his last fight before fighting Pacman - Only lost Oscar had just
before the fight was against three HOF - Shane Mosley, Floyd and Bernard Hopkins.
*Hatton won his last fight before fighting Pacman.
*Cotto won his last fight before fighting Pacman.
*Clottley won five straight fights before losing a close decision to Cotto.
*Margarito won his last fight before fighting Pacman.
the clottey and margarito that pac fought and the shane he's about to fight are mediocre matchups only if you put pac in a higher standard...only if you think he's a great fighter. ironically, the people ****ting on these fights are the same people who are tirelessly trying to malign pac's career and success. it's all about their bull$hit agenda. put those 3 fighters against any other welterweights and they will instanly become legit opponents.
He had choices of Berto, Bradley, JMM but ends up fighting a guy that has lost 2 and drawn 1 of his last 5 fights. :nonono:
LOL if Pac would have fought any of those guys..
They would say he is cherry picking too..
Mayweather or Martinez are the only choices for Pac .... Everyone else is cherry picking..
Maybe you haven't noticed buts it not Nov 2009 and when he fought them none of them was in that same spot.
Well, can you name the five WWs today who took their place in the division rankings?
i don't think there is a boxer out there that's on top who doesn't have a manager that doesn't cherry pick. I don't care how awesome an up coming fighter is if he isn't gonna bring in as much money as an over the hill boring fighter he's not gonna get the contract. they would much rather wait on that up and coming fighter to mature not in skill but in sales.
fighter take risk fights mostly on the way up the ranks not when there at their peak.
why would barrera and morales continue to fight each other several times when marquez was floating around the ranks?
The facts don't lie. Pac fought every ranked fighter in WW. Who else in WW would you have rather Pac fought?
If you say Berto, too bad he couldn't stay on top long enough to get his chance.
Maybe you haven't noticed buts it not Nov 2009 and when he fought them none of them was in that same spot.
Did you understand what i just said or you are just f****ing STUPID!!! Is Leonard, Tito and Pernell the CURRENT, PRESENT, RIGHT NOW best WW of the world??!!! I made reference to Leonard, Duran, Hearns and Hagler fighting each other during their time because they were the best fighters during their time and they were not afraid to loose to each other and they never cared on who's record is best among themselves, they just wanted to fight the BEST!!! As what also ALi, Fraizier, Foreman and Norton did during their time, and now presently, currently Manny, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley is doing with their career is fighting each other, fighting the best. And yes i agree, Floyd is the master in timing his opponents, he timed Cotto, Margarito, Clottey and Mosley to fight each other in 3 years then claims he is the best because all of them had losses with each other and is not worthy for a fight with the great Floyd Jr...!!!!
For stop using Margarito and Clottey in your argument neither one is close to being one is a caught cheater and other one can't get a fight on the bestdamnsports show. So fighting Shane coming off his two worst career performance is testing greatness, fighting Margarito coming off a cheating scandal is testing greateness; fighting Clottey coming of a loss is testing greatness; fighting Cotto coming off career threating beating a controversial decion is testing greatness I call bulls**t. The difference is Ali had to fight all those guys to get a shot back at the title when it meant something everybody but Floyd is chasing Manny so he could have picked opponents from Berto, to the guys at 140.
they were all coming off getting KTFO or wars
pac just waits for them to get softened up and then takes on whats left
I guatantee you and anyone else here once he takes on a a young boxer with speed and decent power he will get KO'd!
The facts don't lie. Pac fought every ranked fighter in WW. Who else in WW would you have rather Pac fought?

this isnt a diok measuring contest between the two
if you are going to play like that then answer me this
how many lineal champs has Manny beat?
If you have to ask that, then that only tells me that you don't really know ****.
The answer is 4, for the record.
winning streak? shootto got demolished by cheato then got a easy belt from bum jennings, then barely beat a **** fighter in clottey. what winning streak? not to mention pac them had to drain shotto to 45Can't avoid it. As one poster here said, it's inevitable because fighters fight each other. Somebody has got to lose. Nothing wrong with that.
This is the Ring Magazine's WW rankings as of November 2009. In just around 2 years, Pac would have fought four out of the five top-ranked WWs. The remaining one is on indefinite vacation. Yet flomos claim that Pac cherry-picks his opponents or he doesn't clean out divisions.

Pacquiao's been cherry picking fighters coming off losses/bad performances his whole career, out of all the world title fights he's had only 7 of his opponents weren't coming off losses in their last 3 fights and the only big named fighter is Barrera. What about Morales? What about Marquez? What about Ledwabah?
This is just reaching if you truly believe he's been cherry picking throughout his WHOLE career.
With that said, his quality of opponents went downhill after Cotto, but I give Clottey a pass since he was a top 5 welterweight and Shane was signed up to fight Berto.

Lol, its funny that clotty is a bum AFTER his performance against manny.
Its like me saying mosley got beat by cotto, then he beats a bum cheater in margarito, a year later mayweather fights him. What kind of crap is that?
Cotto signed the contact to fight manny, period. If cotto could not make the weight then he would not of signed the contract.
I am a fan of BOTH manny and floyd. BOTH have been fighting people coming of recent losses. BOTH of them are doing the same thing, making the most money. The 1 thing is that manny has fought better opponents lately.
Are you serious its about the timing of fighting someone more than the name. By your standards Floyd should fight Tito, Sugar ray Leonard and Pernell Whitaker next since there big names nevermind the fact there super old. You Manny fans always come up with a dumbass explanation for his cherrypicking. Have you ever thought why Floyd gates and PPV's do better its because of the timing of fight his opponents.
Did you understand what i just said or you are just f****ing STUPID!!! Is Leonard, Tito and Pernell the CURRENT, PRESENT, RIGHT NOW best WW of the world??!!! Bob Arum says that Zab Judah is a possible opponent for Pac after Mosley. :lol1:
Fight a young stud welterweight already Manny.
No way? For real? No way that happens, none at all.
So now you want Manny to fight only fighters who is on a winning streak disregarding totally his opponents abilities and skills!!! WTF is that!!! Manny can just fight cab drivers with zero losses and be praised by you!!! Is that impressive to you??!!! Manny fought Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and now Mosley, the winners and losers of those fights, you are not a real boxing fan if you don't get this, Manny doesn't care who wins or lost the last time he just wanted to fight the top and best players, he also did the same when he fought the three best mexicans in Barrera, Morales and Marquez. Manny just doesn't believe of a fighter being shot just because of 1 lost, Manny was KO'd when he was a teener but that did not stop him from moving forward... Leonard, Duran, Hearns and Hagler went round robin with each other and created legendary fights with each other, coz they were not afraid on who wins or looses they just want to fight the best... Ali, Fraizer and Foreman fought each other at some point in their career and that made them true legends of the sport.... You see the difference now, unlike one particular boxer who claims to be even bigger than Ray Robinson but is more concern of preserving his zero rather than showing his true worth inside the ring like the rest of the true boxers/fighters...

I'm on about "big names" you ****ing retard, Pacquiao only chooses to fight these big named fighters when they have come off losses/bad performances instead of choosing to fight them before.
this one i find very funny......pacman to fight big time fighters before their losses?........wow!!!!!!!, now you expect pac to be a crystal ball reader into the future!!!!!
