For years RJJ was P4P the best but he fought belts he never fought "THE BEST" at the time. People get blinded by belts and forget who people are fighting. Why do you think RJJ moved up to LHW he didn't want to face the guys at MW anymore. If RJJ would have retried after the ruiz fight everyone to this day would say Top 5 all time etc... Luckly he stayed around long enough to get exposed. But that's what Floyds done he has fought all these belts and has that undefeated record so you got a lot of people in love with him. At least with Floyd he's fighting his prime in the middle of the "internet age" and people can see past his record and belts and see who he has really fought unlike 10+ years ago when you saw a guy with a belt you assumed he was good and couldn't really look up the history of who he has fought. Floyd is THE most OVERRATED FIGHTER EVER IMO. Look at his Fights Shane Mosley - Waits until shane is 38 years old to fight him not even close to a important or significant win. Juan Manuel Marquez - Fight a ONCE good fighter WELLL past his prime at 36 years old. Ricky Hatton - A decent fighter with a inflated record with only one big name win to has name Kosta who was past his prime. - PacMan killed him in 2 rounds... Oscar - Fights him well past his prime runs the whole fight and barely wins, PacMan fights him and DESTROYS HIM something floyd couldn't do. Carlos Manuel Baldomir - Ducks just about every fighter there is and fights a journey man because he has belts... Zab judah - Do i really need to say anything about zab... Diego Corrales - Turned out to be a medicore fighter Jose Luis Castillo - Decent Fighter who beat Floyd the first time they fought but was robbed. His record is a total sham because of belts and it shows how fractured the sport of boxing is because of "BELTS" ... PAC has Crushed all of these fighters that floyd has ducked. He beat BHop at MW and then left Bernard to rule the division for the next million years or so and moved up and beat the top guy at 168. Honestly, there's nothing wrong with catchweight fights. I have always said there's nothing wrong with catchweight fights. Catchweight title fights for major titles, one of them vacant. Not that great of a feat. 145 and 150 for no titles, cool, no prob. There was nothing wrong with JCC-Whitaker for the lineal title for a catch-weight. There is nothing wrong with Martinez-Williams II for the lineal title at a catch-weight. There was nothing wrong with Pacqiao-Cotto for a major title at a catch-weight. There is something wrong and not a great feat with Pacquiao-Margarito at a catch-weight for a vacant title that neither deserved.
