The Official Maddalone vs Adamek Thread

Adamek V Haye is probably the best fight that can be made at hw IMO. I"m pretty sure either of the Klits would be happy to fight fast eddie if the price is right I was refering to non-Klitschkos, obviously the Klitschkos would fight whoever, Wlad already beat Chambers decisively. But Haye, Adamek, and the rest would not fight Chambers unless forced to because he becomes mandatory, or eliminator or something.

I didn't direct the power thing at you, but at others in the thread. Banks is somewhat underrated though, plus that was back before Adamek was really settled at the weight. I like his footwork a lot and his in n out style. Plus he's got pretty fast hands. I could see him catching Haye when Haye jumps in with something. It was at Cruiserweight. I can see him catching Haye multiple times and hurting him, but I can see Haye surviving rough spots. The outcome isn't set in stone for me, but I have to go with the boxer instead of the puncher on this one. Banks movement didn't have much to do with anything imo. It was cuz Banks was fighting off his back foot, leaning back with his right hand cocked. Adamek was just having trouble finding countering oppertunities as Banks was making him lead. Then he started working his body.........Plus Tomasz is a much improved fighter even from his CW days. Haye's handspeed will be his biggest problem but it's equal oppertunity imo given Tomasz's counterpunching and Haye's horrendous defensive flaws. Trust it was the lateral movement and the counter punching that had Adamek tentative. If he would've just been standing in front of Adamek with his right hand cocked, Adamek would've figured him out and KHTFO sooner. I don't rate Adamek's counter punching highly and offensively he was better at Cruiserweight. He was faster and combinations were crispier IMO. Haye has defensive flaws, so he will be prone to getting caught, but I see him being resilient enough to get out of the rough spots and box a good fight. His movement, speed, power, and counter punching will be hard puzzles for Adamek to solve. I can see Haye hurting/stunning Adamek in the fight too. It's definitely an intriguing fight.

Cuts on social welfare, cuts on pensions for the blind, the disabled, the vulnerable, child benefits, etc. Added property tax, property stamp duty increase, etc. After some pressure, government will debate the EU-IMF bailout option with the opposition parties... That's what Don King said. Now look at him. He was the Anakin Skywalker of the boxing world. Good comparison. The bottom line is, Don King promoted a lot of great fights in his lifetime and has made mega millions doing so. I'd turn over to dark side if it meant becoming super wealthly...

From what I've seen, Adamek can not handle Haye's lateral movement and speed. He got shut down by Banks for the first half of the fight, just from a little moving and counter punching. I feel Haye can finish the job, but it'd be a good fight along the way though. I never said he doesn't have power, he has good power. It showed on Arreola's face and tonight against Vinny. That Grant fight pissed me off though, since I bet on the under. The man got knocked out cold by Dominick "I take tranquilizers before fights" Guinn, but Adamek could barely make him react. He beats Haye imo. Haye has too many flaws and Adamek is the kind of guy that will pick you off. I also disagree about Adamek not having power. He's got serious power. I wonder also, matter fact i wonder where all those polish ppl come from for adamak fights. i NEVER see them around. Looks like they only come out for his fights. A polish walking in the streets of newark and elizabeth...horrible thing would happen The most i saw was a half ripped poster in a corner store a few weeks ago when i went to go buy a monster but nothing else about people talking about the fight itself Im hoping for a decent card to come out for MSG or Atlantic city by june or may. that's hardcore nwo poison. don't drink that ****. Yeah I know what ya mean. Boxing is the truest form of free enterprise and capitalism there is in the world. There is no other business out there that runs as freely and with such little over sight as boxing. Anyone can get in the business. The licenses to be a fighter, manager, trainer, or promoter are a complete joke. And you can basically do whatever you want. This exxxxxactly what I meant. :D
