Here's a novel concept for NSB - How about giving Murray the credit and the respect he deserves for going into a top five p4p fighters backyard, in a country that absolutely hates English people, and dropping, hurting and beating him...instead of all this crap about how Martinez is shot, injured etc.
Murray put the performance of his life in and was the better man on the night. Stop with the excuses, already.:nonono:
He really did, he started slow but poured it on in the middle rounds.... so much so I thought he was going to stop him.
Shoot, when the slip was ruled, I thought Sergio was out of it because he was so slow to get up.
Murray did well and I wish him another chance.
If he's still interim WBA champ, get it on with GGG

Spoken like a real boxing fan, respect
i had Murray winning the 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 n maybe that 3rd round but i give to Sergio but i wouldnt i argue somebody gave that round to Murray, thats why i said 8-4, but i had it 7-5
Oh I see. I gave Sergio the 4th and 7th, he eeked out an 114-113 win on my card. Was one of those fights.
Do you remember your card? I can't see anyway Murray won 8 rounds.

big fan Sergio but i had him losing that fight 8-4 or 7-5 n with both knockdowns no doubt Murray deserve the win, Martinez needs to retire or Canelo or Chavez jr might retire him worst

I am a fan of Martinez , for me he is P4P the No.1 in the world . but I say he lost the fight to Murray , even without counting the 2nd Knockdown .
and it is not related to Martinez age , injuries or rain .
even before the fight starts , with one look to Martinez face you can see he was very stressed , he isn't used to playing the role of nation's hero yet , I expect him to perform better in his next fight , I hope it will be in Argentina with GGG , and I expect Martinez to win UD or late K.O .
Good performance from Murray , he got my respect .
Good comment.

Pretty much this, when this fight was talked about last month by GGG 6 months fanboys on here you would think Murray was a bum, the man was undefeated and a hard nut to crack but they were disrespecting Murray and accusing Martinez of ducking their 6 months hero. Now look how Murray beats his as* just like he did against Felixstowe Sturm.
Murray is in fact taller, thicker, and heavier than GGG, when was the last time GGG fought someone bigger than himself? Let alone a big undefeated top 10 middleweight with a solid guard who's never been hurt or knocked down. I would love to see it.
People also like to forget Sergio was fighting this guy with a broken hand (as early as the second round) and an injured knee.

Murray is a monster,he would beat GGG round the ring in a bad way,i would love too see it
Funny how all of a sudden Martinez is shot, you fucking fanboys, you are truly fucking stupid

I agree with the second part. A few weeks ago you all wanted him to fight Floyd. Now all of a sudden he's shot?
Murray did his thing and beat Martinez in his backyard, straight up. IMO
I don't understand how someone can out land a guy...land at a higher percentage while throwing more power punches. Martinez basically got out landed from round 4 on. Not to mention he never really landed a big shot.
I had Martin Murray winning by two, I counted the KD that was ruled a slip. Even if I don't count it, it's still Murray by 1 point. MM is obviously underrated, he beat Strum and now Martinez but didn't get the decision in either. With that said, I didn't think Martinez-Murray was exactly a robbery, but Martinez looks a lot more vulnerable now and Barker's defensive success was no fluke as shown again by Murray but this time with actual offense. Martinez vs Golovkin/Chavez Jr II just got more interesting now.
1. Martinez
2. Martinez
3. Martinez
4. Murray
5. Murray
6. Murray
7. Martinez
8. Murray 10-8
9. Murray
10. Murray 10-8
11. Martinez
12. Martinez
114-112 Murray
Without counting the other KD 114-113 Murray.
BTW Harold Lederman with his garbage ass scorecards as always, I forgot if he how he had it but I remember he gave Martinez rounds 4-6 which were clearly Murray's rounds.

Murray lost the 11th and 12th
He also lost the the first 4
Don't think he did enough
Murray wasted the first 4 rounds, he gave to much respect to Sergio
So if you had it 6-6 then Murray won on your card with the knockdown.
I think we're seeing the downfall of Martinez. It was fun while it lasted though that's for sure.
Murray fought a great fight.
It was almost the upset of the week.

It's gonna be ugly too, he needs to start utilizing his guard more in the mid-range instead of dropping his hands. He's beginning to depend too much on his chin.
