First off...times are a lot different! Bigger money involved so things are different. Negotiations between Pac vs Rios or Clotty or guys like that are a lot different than negotiations with Mayweather...that's why new stadiums were supposed to be built lol. We used to see him eating candy, McDonald's, Taco Bell etc during training camp...I think he could make 40 if he had his mind made up before camp. I think it's incredible that he fights fairly close to his walk around weight.

Floyd has done great in convincing the casual fan that being undefeated means something. His marketability is directly tied to his undefeated record, which is why he won't fight a real threat to that "0."
Same people saying "he won't fight a threat" are the same one's that jumped back on Cotto's nuts after his last fight...& that's just one example. Every fight you have people who think "THAT GUY" is a legit threat & people who think "THAT GUY" is weak...can't please both. If he fought Pac next & whooped him easy, those same guys would say he waited for Pac to slow down. It's a lose lose...but it kills me that people act like they don't understand his position & how important the business side is.
