I've noticed more buzz about James Kirkland lately as a possible GGG opponent. I don't get it.:grumble:
First you guys give Golovkin crap for fighting bums and now all of the sudden everyone is buzzing about kirkland, even though recently a TOP MIDDLEWEIGHT in Daniel Geale showed interest in signing for the April 26 date against Golovkin.
So :wtf:
Golovkin vs Geale is obviously the better fight, and I would think that's the fight we'd all like to see, but the little hype surrounding Kirkland lately says otherwise. #whohashebeaten.
It's not gonna be Beale. He's #2 for the WBA.... He'll either demand to face the fletcher/Murray winner or sturm. If Murray loses though, I hope Golovkin doesn't fight him and Murray retires again
How is it irrelevant?
1. The Golovkids say everyone at 160 is scared so why not move up?
2. Golovkin and his team said they will fight anyone between 154 & 168 (I think they said 175 at one point too)
3. So its fine when he fights guys a division below but not one up?
Golovkin is willing to fight anyone from 154 to 168, when it comes to a really big fight, like Mayweather, Froch or Ward. Nothing has changed on this matter, and the potential fight with Froch and Ward is already building up. But, they have some unfinished business in the MW. As GGG becomes a superstar now, it seems that those shook ones have much less excuses to avoid him. So why don't just wait a little. Fight against Geale aint that bad, right?
i want to see the kirkland fight, i know it will probably be a massacre but it will be entertaining while it lasts. geale is just gonna run and pitterpat with flashy combos until he gets koed
Mora called him out just before he agreed to fight Adama.

If they really wanted to fight, it should've happened by now. We all know the back story so no need to get into that. And Guerrero has a snowballs chance in hell to do anything. Don't act like him "calling" him out has any significance.
If Golovkin were to beat a Geale or Murray, there should be no more excuses for Sergio.
Everyone b*tching and moaning about who Floyd fights, all the while Sergio is getting a pass it seems to not fight Golovkin, which is THE FIGHT at 160.
Out of your "impressive" list, its only Soliman and Geale who has recently voiced their desire to fight GGG. Interestingly it happened only after the deal with Adama was approved.
Never heard about Fernando Guerrero calling out GGG (please give a link).
Andre Dirrell, Carl Froch - they are calling out to fight at 168? Are you kidding? Thats absolutely irrelevant at this point.

Sergio Mora, Andre Dirrell, Carl Froch, Sam Soliman, Daniel Geale, Fernando Guerrero have all called out GGG
All but Froch in the last 2 weeks alone.
Yeah everyone is ducking him alright!

Since damn near everybody thinks he's some unstoppable force @ 160, I say hold him to the Mayweather standard & force him up to see Ward since it's all about fighting the very best available. Ward would gladly take the fight & after reading numerous post about boxers needing to challenging themselves (retarded fan standard, not actual people who fight standards) I say make it happen so we can see what's really good!

Odd-timing don't you think? I know Mora has been saying he'll fight him for awhile but now that he has a fight lined up they all start barking. I'm not defending his choice of opponent because it is actually upsetting to a fan like me but lets not act like most of these guys calling him out have a remote chance of beating him. If they went the route of calling him out like Curtis did then it would be different.
You havent even opened the link gtfo. The date is in the url, jeeze
So basically they offered peanuts and the only fighter willing to accept such a pathetic amount of chump change was Adama.
Who even cares? What about all the other fighters that have called him out? I suppose they all turned down a insulting payday too
That was before when Geale opted to fight Mundine for a much, much bigger payday as explained in the article posted.
He made a reported $2,000,000 why would he fight GGG for what, 300k?

"Tom Loeffler, Golovkin’s promoter, offered a quick jab of a response to Geale’s comments.
“Geale can fight Golovkin anytime for the WBA belt he gave up,” he said. “We actually made an offer to his promoter for the fight on February 1 in Monaco, but it was turned down.”
