Arum wanted it to be LAST fight = He would do everything in his power to block it. = Why Floyd don't want Arum involved.
Can't wait for his bio book. "Freddie tells it all"
Freddie Roach blames Pacquiao on Mayweather fight not happening 4 years ago. He all believes that Arum always wanted the Mayweather Pacquiao fight to be Pacquiao's last fight which in other words, Arum and Pacquiao is the reason we never seen this fight.
ATG Replies: - throughout the thread of immense excuses here's some replies worth reading.
He got that reputation thanks to Bob Arum claiming that Floyd was ducking his fighters. Before 2007 Floyd was never accused of ducking anybody. Once he broke ties with Top Rank then the accusations came. Now even Manny Pacquiao's trainer is admitting Floyd wanted the fight.
Congrats on your honesty freddy . Hats off
He admits the first time (when they turned it down and walked away) was their fault which is clear to anyone with a grain of sense but yeah atleast he admits that now.
They have the right to refuse and everyone has the right to call them ducks for refusing. Simple mathematics.
I notice that only HERE is where you can bring facts, lay it right in front of people, bring countless witnesses who can attest to said facts.....AND STILL BE CALLED A LIAR OR HAVE THOSE FACTS DISREGARDED FOR THE SAKE OF THEIR LOVE FOR A BOXER NOT THE SPORT!!
;14436797']I said it here first:
x Prime Pacquiao vs Prime Mayweather is Manny fault for not happening.
x If Floyd beats Manny tomorrow, Blame Manny for it not being in their Prime.
yet pac fans have been saying its floyd 100%
I don't believe any sane person can pin the entire blame on Mayweather. This is a 50-50 thing. IMHO Mayweather has been more for this fight than Pac who is controlled and doesn't seem to know when to say no or yes. Everytime Pac has a fight coming up then it's yes I want the fight, everytime Mayweather has a fight it's don't talk to me about Pac, but on the real face of things only one fighter (Mayweather) has actually made a bid for the two to get in the ring.
reaching much LOL!!
“I think people will say why didn’t they fight each other, and blame both guys to be honest with you. Because the first negotiation we were against the blood test, and it was kinda our fault that the first time it didn’t work. Then it came to a point where we accepted that later on. I think it’s both guys.”

Revising history and making Pac look guiltier by the minute.
.
Of course he looks guiltier by the minute, your own ****1ng coach says that youre to blame for a fight not happening
I'm a Floyd fan. I've never defended cherrypick.
Guerrero was a cherrypick.
Gatti was.
Baldomir was disgusting.
Maidana is a sh1tty matchup
However I can give credit for some good fights he gave us:
Undefeated Hatton
Undefeated Canelo
Undefeated Corrales
Mosley after he dismantled Margarito
JLC, and being fair enough to give JLC and immediate rematch and a chance to prove that he deserved the win against floyd.
If somebody is stubborn in this thread, it's you. Defending Pac to the end.
You forgot Marquez jumping up nearly 3 divisions and Floyd not making weight ....
Hatton was a 140 fighter. Never looked good at 147.
Mosley was old and inactive
Corrales was weight drained but I don't blame Floyd
Canelo was too green and needed more time to fix his issues. He can't even make 154 easily imagine 152! Weight drained and this was Floyd's fault.
BTW: I have criticized some of Manny's fight selection. So you are totally wrong ... but as far as fighting Floyd, Manny has always wanted it more. Again, go check out the video clips just like you are hanging on to every word Roach says. It's as clear as day, Floyd is NOT interested in fighting Manny!
Bottom line is Pacquiao and Arum were never confident of beating Floyd in a ring, much less confident Manny was drug-free, so they had to sue Floyd and GBP in court for "character defamation" and to delay random drug testing to block the fight from ever happening.
Marquez made Manny realize how important PED testing is for the sport.
.
Still can't get yourself to list them roadblocks or times where Floyd said that "I'm not interested in fighting Manny"
How can Manny vs Marquez 4 be a cherry pick when everyone except JC-Super knows that Marquez vs Manny will always be a tough fight for both.
Manny joked about being KOed by Marquez. Life moves on for Manny and his fans. Floyd fans are different. They defend cherry picked opponents even when the opponent himself calls out Floyd as a cherry picker (ex. Guerrero)

Lol, like getting planked by Marquez was part of the plan. Pac-Marquez IV was a cherrypick that went terribly wrong.

You can do better than that .... come on, show us all those roadblocks created by Floyd ....... GO!
It's not about being a diva it's about "health comes first" ...... and that Floyd does NOT want to risk his precious "0". You can't come up with a reason why Manny would duck Floyd because there isn't one. Manny lost to Morales and Marquez, life still moves on for Manny. He even jokes about his loss to Marquez.
If Floyd lost to Manny, you know that it would have been "party over" for Floyd. There is a difference that you can't seem to understand.
You dont seem to understand that Pac is Arum's cash cow and getting humiliated by Floyd back in the time would have meant for Arum an enormous loss of money in the future. All the in-house fights he did, Clottey-Pac, Margarito-Pac, Marquez 3 4, Bradley 1 2, would not have generated a lot of interest after a loss against Floyd.
Like I've said, I agree that Floyd is a diva and doesnt look interested in the fight. What is amusing me is kid like you who would defend Pac all day, thinking he wants to fight Floyd.

ahahah ok so just to resume :
- Fearing needles when youre full of tatoos
- Having a cut that needs to heal for the next year
- Building a stadium
- Blood testing draining his energy
- Putting an ultimatum and signing Clottey in the process instead of honestly negociationg
- Your own trainer and conditioner agree that they fuc ked up the first negociations
- Ask for gloves size, 50-50 split, huge weight penalty, but refuse a ****1ng blood test for the biggest payday in the history of boxing
And all this, in your fantasy world, translate to Manny wanting the fight but made the mistake of getting Floyd a way of backing out. ahahahah you're just pathetic.
Like I've said, Im a floyd fan, but I know the dude is a diva and dont really want the fight.
What I find amusing on this site is the little children who thinks that Pac is some kind of fearless god. You know, kids like you

If you get a poll going, you would quickly realize that you are mistaken. "Who wants the fight more" or "who tried to duck the fight"
Actually, no poll or evidence will get you to agree but that is another matter. :lol1:
Roach is saying that they should have accepted initially. Cool, no problem but that doesn't translate to what you believe. Manny has always wanted the fight and made the mistake of getting Floyd a way of backing out .
As I pointed out, lot's of times you actually hear Floyd saying that he was not interested in fighting Manny. You don't see Manny saying that. So if you believe Roach, you need to believe that Floyd was never really interested in fighting Manny as he stated from 2010 - TODAY.
