I did no such thing. Don't lie.
I said kudos to floyd for not beating JMM up too bad. Please read more carefully next time.
He could've easily battered JMM into bloody mess.
Your just mad that manny could'nt beat him so convincingly.
I read it right. You went that route instead of calling it what it is. A guy (Floyd) fighting a guy (Marquez) that had just moved up from 130 to 135 but had to go all the way up to 144 and had a late notice that it was moved up to 146. There was NOTHING to KUDOS about yet you did. Read a few of your posts and so the biased in you shows. With Manny, you are continuously doing the opposite.
Floyd didn't KO Marquez because he doesn't take those kind of risks and settle for the win. Next thing you know, you are going to tell me that Floyd ran around in round 12 against Baldomir because he didn't want to KO him either. Floyd fights to win even if it means that it will turn into a stinker..... What you said is nonsense!!!
Berts my dude but his thoughts on Mayweather are exactly how a lot of "fans" on here like to flip flop when the fight doesn't go as planned.
See recent figths like Mayweather vs Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Mosley, and Alvarez. A few years ago you had the Euro's hyping up Khan, we won't even go there as that was and has ALWAYS been a complete sh*t fight.
Like here, before the fight Floyd is supposed to be facing a real threat or as Bert suggests possibly his "toughest opponent", not a "tune up" and the fight would be a "toss up with Marquez maybe winning".
Now this is just his opinion but like a lot of Mayweather fights outside of Ortiz or even Guerrero, this has been the trend. It's funny to see people flip flop saying Floyd would never fight so and so and when he does, that so and so magically becomes a bum, is too this and too that, etc. Pure flip flopping.
But lets take into account Floyd "cheated" the weight or better said, paid a hefty amount to JMM to change the official weight of the fight. It was a pure sh*t show and the out-of-shape, past prime, fat, old-boy Floyd disgraced boxing by not making weight. However it doesn't change the fact that Pac, ironically wanted the very same (older) JMM at the very same weight.
Cheated weight, paid to change the weight, it's all hindsight and irrelevant now and nobody holds that victory high. Yet it's the fact that JMM KO'ed Pac at WW that reminds people of just how easy Floyd beat JMM. Nothing more, nothing less and obviously it REALLY pisses people off at just how easy the win was for Floyd.
But who cares? JMM came out and said he would never fight Floyd again. He knows no matter what the weight was, is, he wouldn't win. JMM is great fighter and losing to Floyd won't change that.
I like how people say that what mayweather did was wrong but it wouldn't of mattered anyways, lol that there shows you what kinda b1tch this guy is. All you Floyd fans are hypocrips.
I understand why ppl were frustrated with this fight but regardless of how y'all feel...JMM has grown into the weight & still doesn't want a rematch...that should let you know what it is!!! Keep it real...what happened inside the ring was skill vs skill, not size & skill vs skill.
Whats funny is most of these clowns claimed weighed 160 on fight night vs Marquez but he weighed 150 vs Canelo sometimes you can't argue with fools.
Lol some will say that he can make 135 if he wanted to, while other argue that he weighs in at a monstrous 170 on fight night. The polar opposite views when it comes to Mayweather crack me up.
Kudos for Floyd? You are too funny .... yesterday you criticized Manny "picking on" a guy from the lower weights but Floyd does it yet all you can say is "Kudos for Floyd...."
BTW .... The only reason that Floyd didn't go full throttle on Marquez is because Floyd doesn't take risks. Floyd played it safe.

It's funny Marquez thinks this was his only legit loss and people are still arguing that it wasn't because of the 2 lbs. I personally think Mayweather pulled a fast one coming in 2 lbs over but seriously, Marquez wasn't/isn't beating him at any weight.
JMM moves up to WW and looks like a clown vs Mayweather, Pac decides he wants that very same old and bloated JMM at WW too..
Pac gets KO'ed, everyone points and laughs. The pacfan f*ckboys get angry.
The end.
Mayweather-Marquez fight was a joke. Going up two weight classes, Marquez looked fat. Still, though, Marquez can't beat Mayweather, given styles of the two. Marquez doesn't have the tools to beat him. The only kind of fighter to beat Mayweather is someone who puts relentless pressure, has an iron chin, and throws 100 punches a round. You know who I'm talking about. Look at Cotto-Mayweather, now think Margarito-Mayweather back in 2008.
Also, I thought first 5 or 6 rounds of Canelo-Mayweather were competitive. However, Canelo fell into Mayweather's strategy of chasing him around. The thing is, if you're not a pressure fighter, don't try to be one. First couple of rounds were close since they stayed in the center of the ring, so he took away Mayweather's movement. If you don't chase him, he has no reason to move, you circle only. There is more exchanges that way. Once Canelo started applying pressure, the fight was over for him. So, maybe Danny Garcia can fight this type of fight against Mayweather, stay in the center of the ring, similar to Khan fight. Let Mayweather come to you.
Forget the age, everyone knows the guy has gone through a physical transformation. You can't deny that reality. He's built like a tank, he hits like welterweight today and unlike 2009 he isn't slow or sluggish at the weight, he probably take a shot better too.
Ahh that's crap. Its the same jmm. Same one. Muscles dont make u a better boxer which is why he looked like crap against jmm and crap against PAC in the 4th fight. He looked good once at 147. Just keep it honest
Come on dude, you serious??? I know youre all on Floyds jock and all but you have to admit to these facts...
1. Regardless of JMM record in 09, jumping to 144 and floyd still outweighing him by 2 pounds was some BS as far as "being fair" goes
2. The way JMM looked during the fight was bloated and fatigued
3. JMM is stronger and smarter now
4. If Floyd wouldnt ask for a crazy ass drug test, and JMM could Roid up like he did with Pac, Im sure he would take the fight and would have a slight chance of rocking floyd, maybe even KO
Would I want that to happen? No, because I think Floyd is a way better boxer than JMM and JMM doesnt deserve the shot, but still, he def is stronger, more lethal now(with roids ofcourse)
JMM offered tests to pac and pac said no. So the roiding is pretty much void at that. JMM is not a great 147 fighter by any stretch of the imagination. He's good and nothing more. It'd be a terrible mismatch in the rematch just like the first fight...
So Floyd gets no credit for beating a 36 year old Jmm 12-0 in 2009..yet you think a 40 going on 41 year old Jmm is better now??? where does the ignorence stop???? Juan has 1 win at 147 and thats against Manny..but when Floyd fought him it was "oh he just is no good at ww" ya'll are hilarious seriously it is pathetic...Juan showed nothing in that fight that he could EVER beat Floyd..HELL HE HIMSELF DOES NOT EVEN WANT A DAMN REMATCH EVER

Oh boy...what a fail.
Anyway, def. agree on FMJ vs buff JMM. We just saw JMM out boxed by Bradley. He gets 2 rounds(tops) against Floyd
Don't be silly. Marquez's complaint about the Mayweather fight is that he didn't put on the weight properly and that it left him slow and sluggish. The guy is physically transformed, he is a much stronger and faster welterweight today. Floyd fought a lightweight, not a welter in 2009.

JMM did what small college football/basketball teams do. They took a beating for a payday.
Kudos to floyd for letting him off the hook after the 2nd rd KD. He didn't beat JMM up too bad.

Faster????wtf?? he is even slower and older now and it would be even more embarrassing
