I like MMA. Don't care one bit for pro wrestling though. Boxing and MMA are really the only sports I follow.
Kind of tough to discuss MMA since most fans..... seem to be missing a chromosome.
I'm very high on TC, he's a real talent and I wouldn't count him out but he's still developing his skills. I'd confidently pick Floyd to outbox him in a slow paced fight
id rate loma's power similar to rigo's, except at 126 instead of 122.
he couldnt KO grj and salido, but i dont think that makes him a light puncher. look at his other fights.
i dunno, LSC is surprising lol.
its good to have a mini margarito in the 126 division though.
I want to see him succeed, I've supported him for a while and I picked him to beat Mares but I can't see him beating Lomachenko and definitely not Walters.
ITT: Internet warriors talking about a boxing match like it's street fighting. UFC/MMA fans do the same **** and it's fking annoying. Combat sports =/= Street fighting.
Hence why a non boxer got owned in the ring.
Not to knock Santa Cruz, Lomachenko or Rigondeaux, but none of them have ever knocked out another good fighter. Doesn't matter to me, I enjoy wars of the feather fists.
Edit- misread
It is not bad at all, people just want to Hate because Haymon is associated with Mayweather so there lies the hate point blank period end of discussion. You get to watch boxing on a regular basis i see no problem. Hell no one cried over the sh1t fights on Friday night fights
Exactly. I'm here to watch fights not pick sides and moan about who's delivering them. Pumped for LSC vs Mares.
He's not exactly Julian Jackson but he does pack a punch it would be a mistake for Cotto to think he can't hurt him. Also I guarantee the same people calling him overrated will be saying Cotto was shot if he manages to win.
thank you thats what we need to get back to. the reality is the product is improving for the fans on all sides and the competition is improving and the competition will only continue to improve the match making. this is real competition now and the winners in that are the fans. Ya we might have fights we might not get to see because of it which sucks it does but thats going to happen regardless with the the network contracting fighters and such. i just feel pbc in that sense is doing good for the sport i think it truly is building competition which is making for more and better fights for the fans. I hate arum think hes a piece of **** but i ndont want to see him fail or his fighters fail etc. i still get excited if he makes big fights
Yes. Arum is awful but I still tune in. As for Haymon, I don't necessarily approve of everything he does (like the rumor of a Haymon belt which seems to have died down, and him trying to keep all the fights "in-house"). He's put on mismatches as well as good, competitive, fights but if he's doing it to build stars and match them up in the future then it's understandable. I won't complain about more boxing on TV
