As long as he's getting paid that well there is no reason for him to ever step up and fight meaningful opponents... So he's back to his old call the top guys out but fight bums routine. To me he sounded sincere. I don't think "He" is the one choosing to fight former sparring partners. I think he does want Rigondeaux and would agree to fight him if the fight is presented to him.

I would say that about $700k of that should've gone to Maidana, but Marcos put up such a poor effort that I can't even say that. At least Angulo got some dough for his retirement fund.

One of the easiest paychecks I have ever seen. Andre Berto once made 1 million fighting and KOing Freddy Hernandez in less than 2 minutes in an undercard fight on HBO. Not defending the crappy fight, but saying it happens.
