As a fan of combat sports, can you see yourself watching mix martial arts or pro wrestling and if you watch both, how does it compare to the other combat sport we love, boxing?
Tomorrow night, we have:
Jake Paul vs. Julio Chavez -- Boxing
UFC 317 -- MMA
WWE Night of Champion -- Pro Wrestling
As combat fans, what a time to be alive.
As a boxing fan, do you like MMA or Pro Wrestling?
Casual MMA fan but most events are hit or miss for me. I tuned into the UFC event last night after the Boots fight to see Yair (he’s from my home state). I always get told they hardly ever put on mismatches, that was a straight slaughter by Volk, garbage main event.
It was a mismatch because Volk is an ATG and the p4p no1 in the sport. There is literally nobody in the division who he wouldnt dominate at this point. Yair is a genuine top 5 level guy at that weight. I wouldnt call that a garbage main event either especially compared to watching Ennis piece up some no wiki page opponent for half an hour.
That overall card was legit an all time classic too.
I feel you, what is your opinion of pro wrestling, as it relates to MMA & Boxing?
I loved it up untill my teens and have grown out of it since. Realness of fighting is what attracted me so much to it, and later brought me over to MMA. Pro Wrestling is the opposite.
I do love spending time listening to shoot interviews from old wrestlers of the old era's though. It's an interesting world that they have, to say the least.

MMA, because it has all the elements that boxing used to have which made me love the latter in the first place.
Plus I value growth in life. I'm wayyy past the point of thinking people who only know how to fight with their fists are the baddest men on the planet.

MMA i def watch some of the fights, usually the bigger fights, I dont know it in depth like I do boxing but I like it.
Pro wrestling, i never watch wrestling events.... I tried to a few times in the early 2000s when other school kids were into it and the rock and all that and couldnt get into it.
I will still watch like documentaries though about the old timers, like hulk hogan, macho man ect from the 80s-90s...
I used to like pro-wrestling, however now I despise it as there is so much fruityness on there. As for MMA I never watch it, ive always been a boxing guy through and through. I do know and have seen some highlights of many fighters and I like Conor Mcgregor.

I hear distractors of both MMA & professional wrestling say "Oh, it look like they are have gay s**" or "It's not real, it's fake".
We are talking about the entertainment value here when boxing is not available.
Loved it as a kid ( long time ago), don't watch it anymore tho. Dont have any hate for it, it's just entertainment. Just grew out of it.
I'm hearing that alot.
What are your thoughts on pro wrestling?
