Fury again, hopefully not followed by a litany of excuses from the losing side. Part of me would like to see wilder win just to complete the upset. However, can't see that happening, he's a mental midget.
I hope Breland is in the audience. Wilder is totally unhinged just a day before the fight. His emotions are running high. That's almost as bad as having a stable full of yes men, which he also has. This is all about revenge to Wilder, who is so worked up he can't even speak a clear sentence that makes sense.
To be fair to wilder, I don't think I've ever heard him speak a clear sentence that made sense.
I'd still like to see it despite the done being taken off it somewhat. If/when AJ losses to Usyk again, I think it'll probably be dead in the water unless fury loses to wilder too.
Yes, he punches harder in yer dreams.
The bum, Steve Cunningham, who’s neither as big or as skilled/tough as Ali was coming off 3 losses when he dropped Fury heavily until Fury used dirty tactics to beat him.
Haye was Ali’s size and he would’ve beaten Fury.
That must've been why Haye shat it twice.
I want to see fury versus Whyte as I think it'll be a good fight and Whyte deserves the shot after Wilder's shameful ducking of him for years. Convinced it's a win for fury but until it actually happens, I don't truly know. Hopefully Whyte's 'injury' will get this fight on sooner.
As a Brit, I've got zero interest in this fight but Whyte is well overdue his mandatory shot, providing he gets past Wallin. I can't see Whyte posing fury many problems and see it being a boring decision win for the bigger man.
Bruno was a household name, everybody knew who he was from schoolchildren to housewives to grandparents. AJ hasn't achieved that level of fame although his earnings obviously eclipse Bruno's
Stuck 3 bets on - brook in RDS 1- 6, Khan in the fifth and llKhan by stoppage at any time. Brook payout will be the best and have the added bonus of khan getting sparked.
I think Fury will win, either on points or late round stoppage. But I also think that Whyte will give him a much tougher fight than many people expect.
This is where I'm at. The odds for the fight to go the distance were almost 2/1 last time I looked. Might put some of my brook winnings on that...
Those were years ago ,only guy who looked good against Chisora was Klitschko and Haye.,Whyte along with Usyk looked bad against Chisora on the surface though they clearly won . You also made a thread with this of Whyte looking sloppy in recent fights but Povetkin was his most recent fights and under a new trainer looked very sharp so that doesn’t make sense either . When was Whyte hurt by Rivas I recall him tripping over their feet ?
Didn't he get put down by an uppercut? Not seen it since it was live so can't remember
Posters run on mostly delusions on here . Usyk is an underrated puncher but it’s how he sets heavy shots up . A.J hurt him more actually in their fight only he was outworked but only slightly minor adjustments could see him stopping Usyk which I expect to happen .
We have to remember most hardcore fans don’t even wAtch a fight back ,and remember only the last rounds usually 11 and 12 and go on nonsensical logic just like his last rematch where he was dead in the water on here . :lol1:
I wouldn’t put to much stock in any trainer he picks if he’s choosing someone it’s basically for a slight change in offense . I’d like Ali Bashir being Usyks firmer trainer but I’m sure there’s a reason that didn’t pan out ?
People do get overexcited with a win/loss on here, no doubt. Equally lots of people are saying 'AJ only has to make this adjustment..... to win', as if usyk isn't capable of multiple adjustments on his first performance.
I don't think the rematch is an easy night for either fighter but I definitely lean towards Usyk and wouldn't be shocked by a space of a fatigued Joshua through accumulation.
Maidana, Kotelnik, Malignaggi, Judah were all at 140. Should have got the nod over Peterson. Swift stopped the run, but it was a hell of a run.
He made more than a solid start at 47, with dominant wins vs Collazo and Alexander, then looked average against Algieri in a W.
The problem is after that point, instead of going for one of the belt holders at 47, he went for Canelo and that knockout pretty much finished his career at top level.
He's not as far away as you think but agree that he isn't HOF
When you have to list Kotelnik and malignaggi as justification for getting into the hof, you know you're clutching at straws.
Fury late (9) on a very entertaining fight.
Wrong round and it wasn't particularly entertaining but seeing fury scrub Whyte and finish him with one shot was impressive to me.
It's all height and reach with Fury.
Take away those advantages and he's another David Price.
That comparison makes basically zero sense as David price had extremely similar height and reach advantages. Could even throw Valuev in there too.
Great stoppage. The only explanation I can see for the booing (other than coked up, boozed up casuals that don't know shit about boxing you get at the big shows) is that maybe they didn't see she was out on her feet when the ref jumped in, as it did happen pretty fast.
Most likely the former though.
Absolutely appalled this site didn't change the header to commemorate the Queen's passing or at least lock the forum for a week out of respect. SMH...
