Not hard to agree.
Ortiz already beat the guy (Kavaliauskas) who clipped Avanesyan in one round.
Kavaliauskas vs Avanesyan was not even about who got caught and made mistakes.
It was about who got better skills and more focused. It was clearly Kavaliauskas.
Although that was years ago.
Benn vs The Machine would still be an interesting matchup, imho.
Yes. And Mean Machine is no world beater himself, I personally see him as a top 15 kinda level at 147, yet he mopped the floor with Avanesyan. I do rate Ortiz though, he's a big boy at 147 and for as long as he can remain there, he's a problem for anybody.
Benn vs Mean Machine would definitely be a firefight, those guys throw with bad intentions and leave themselves open. The exchanges in that fight would be brutal and I think because Benn is younger and never been beaten up and stopped the way Mean Machine has, he would have the mental edge and outlast Kavalaskus. Easy to see either guy getting hurt and stopped in that fight, I would love to see it.
Avanesyan is very overrated, Ortiz is going to brutally stop him

Yup, it's really really bad. Everyone in this effing sport is scared of one loss. One effing loss.
And Avanesyan has 3 loses and one draw.
He resurrected from being a complete nobody to being a threat.
Avanesyan vs Ortiz, two fighters Eddie Hearn has been avoiding for Benn are fighting each other.
Isn't that something doe? Hearn is making Benn look really bad.

It's clear Eddie Hearn is still in protection mode for Conor Benn.

So Hearn didn't have Ortiz on his radar for Benn, who doesn't want to be protected.
Obviously, Eddie is scared of Vergil because it's a fight that is easier to make than
the Ramirez fight. Jose is a 140 guy and is with TR. Ortiz is with GBP. Go figure.

What happened to him again ?
Rhabdomyolysis
Damaged muscle tissue breaking down and releasing various proteins into his blood. Hopefully there was no permanent damage.
