Not excited, but I am tired of Fury - Wilder.
I wanna se them both fighting other guys.
Whyte is clearly top 10, possibly top 5 guy. He is WBC interim champ. Fury must fights those guys like Whyte, Usyk, Joshua, Ruiz, to prove he is realy the best.
Wilder should take an easy touch first, helenius would be a great idea, than he should fight Ruiz.
History is now rewritten on Wilder v Fury 3 then?
It was a fight that no-one needed. It didn't prove anything. They're was no build up because one of the participants wouldn't take part. It didn't even sell out the stadium.
Whereas this would be a mandatory and therefore is needed, has lots of unknown about how their styles would mesh, and the fighters would both get involved in the build up.
If you enjoyed Wilder v Fury 3 - the fight we didn't want or need. Why do you think you wouldn't enjoy Fury v Whyte?
As a Brit, I've got zero interest in this fight but Whyte is well overdue his mandatory shot, providing he gets past Wallin. I can't see Whyte posing fury many problems and see it being a boring decision win for the bigger man.
I saw you in Maine last week but I've never seen you in NY.
Why are you ashamed of claiming Maine, matey? :lol1:
I like Maine. My brother in law lives there. I’m in jersey. Claim it all the time.
Hearn will surely forget how he pushed for Fury-AJ unification fight, how everybody wanted this fight and will say nothing about possible Fury-Usyk unification fight as the next possible one, hed say Fury-Whyte is the best out there to be made
Even Al wants to see it, except yer phaggggit arse who's from Maine but claiming NY. :lol1:
I haven’t read anyone except you advocating for this fight.
That is a MASSIVE fight in the UK and the UK is where the money is now.
No one cares if you're not interested.
Agreed. This is a huge fight in England. Fury has earned the right to grab a payday while AJ sees if he can win the belts back.
The world cares about Whyte getting his shot.
Why are you lot so obsessed with Whyte? He's a legit top-5 HW with a better resume than Wilder's.
Yes, we all want to see it!
No, the world doesn’t. The only ones that care are Cuck Nation aka British boxing fans.
I'm always excited to see Fury fight. I've followed his career since he started boxing.
I can see Whyte beating Wallin and Fury fighting and beating Whyte. Then he'll fight the winner of the Usyk vs Joshua rematch plus a rematch when he wins that and then the loser of Usyk vs Joshua.
If Fury is forced to let a belt go due to being unable to face a mandatory challenger then he'll end up challenging for it at a later date once those 4 fights have been done. If this happens we could see Fury being a three time heavyweight Unification winner without losing a fight which would (I THINK, although I will stand to be corrected if I'm wrong!) be a place in boxing history.
I find Whyte annoying as fuck and right now I think Fury will win in dominant fashion. But i'm semi-excited purely for the fact that Fury has looked superhuman against Wilder but has fought nobodies outside of that since his comeback. I want to know if Fury is really that good or if Wilder is just really really shit.
Whyte sparks the both of them.
They are scared Whyte would be the one to stop Fury's hype train.
I don't think Fury will take the fight. He'll most likely opt for a franchise belt if Whyte beats Wallin.
But if Whyte wins - he'll stall the fight until the winner of AJ vs Usyk 2 rematch.
If AJ wins, the pressure would be on Hearn and AJ to get Whyte to step aside. But if Usyk wins, Fury will drop the belt.
Whyte got KOed by 40 year old Povetkin. He is nothing special lol
The world cares about Whyte getting his shot.
Why are you lot so obsessed with Whyte? He's a legit top-5 HW with a better resume than Wilder's.
Yes, we all want to see it!
Deluded.....
Champions need to face mandatories. If they didn't Fury himself would never have become champion.
The question really is whether the mandatory is the right person. On this case, of course it is, very few more deserving.
Whether Fury himself is interested in facing the Whyte is a different story and one for him to decide though
Dillian Whyte is a different proposition. He would pose different problems, wouldn't fall for the same things Wilder did. And the buildup would just make Dillian mad, he wouldn't get psyched out and terrified like Deontay did. Tyson wouldn't be able to lean on him and snap his legs either.
Well either way, he deserves his shot if he’s mandatory.
I think Wallin might beat him anyway, so it may never happen. If Whyte wins then give him his shot. He did what he needed, paid his sanctioning fees etc. It’s only fair.
I don’t think it’s an exciting fight though, Fury is several levels above. Still, when you look at the mandatory challengers we often get in boxing, a lot are complete bums, like really not even close to world level, so Whyte is an ok fight for a mandatory
Never liked this fight I think its a mismatch of the highest order even if Whyte is top 5 or lingering.
I'm not even convinced Whyte gets past Wallin in all honesty
