Now that Fury vs Whyte is apparently official, WHo do you think wins?
I personally have Fury winning VERY convincingly, possibly by KO. Fury all around is too skilled and without even mentioning his huge size which he knows how to use to exhaust his opponents.
What are your thoughts on this bout?
I mean, regarding the heavyweight division, I think Fury IS as skilled as many say, people may exaggerate a little but he is a really good fighter for the division.
I do think Whyte isn't that good. I would say B- level.
Cool! Ultimately thought it WON'T matter what WE think.
Possibly a Fury win; but I'm not sure he's as good as most people make out and Whyte definitely isn't as bad as some want to believe.

I must admit I went for khan not Just Because he was underdog but he sounded so confident and I believe him I was a fool. Khan has an acting career if he wants.
No matter how confident Whythe sounds ill go with fury
Yeah, concerning Khan, I saw through the guy.
But yeah Whyte doesn't convince me at all honestly.
I mean, lately Boxing has been throwing several curveballs, Teo getting beat up by Kambo, Chris Colbert getting a major beating by a 2-week replacement etc.
But yeah, Fury smashes Whyte, but we'll see as you said, whining, pouting Whyte may surprise the world.

I predicted khan to beat Brook as i thought id be different go for underdog. It backfired. So i'll go for favouirite this time. Fury should win. But this is boxing it throws a curveball once in a while to shake things up.

I am going to go with a 8th-9th Rd stoppage. I dont think Fury turns out Whyte's lights, but he'll beat him so bad that the ref will step in.
Well said,
I think whatever the case may be, Fury beats Whyte VERY clearly.
I can see a TKO.
I think the fight will be tougher than many people expect for Tyson Fury. And in the aftermath of the fight? People will begin to realize, that Kronk Fury is not peak Fury.
I can even envision Fury himself, being displeased with his performance and threatening to get out the game.
Tyson Fury will win, but it will be a mighty struggle. In the end his endurance and most likely inside fighting capability will overhaul Whyte.
I am unsure whether this will be a stoppage win, points, or corner pulling Whyte out late on in the fight. I will give that sort of prediction the closer the fight date nears etc
Nice breakdown!
Yeah, i personally think Fury wins quite convincingly.
But I can see it being a tough fight for Fury also, it's Boxing.
But yeah I am anticipating the press conferences, face-offs etc. to get an idea of where they are psychologically, physically etc.

Good point, but then again, Fury looking overconfident may be one of his strategies to offset his opponents.
I just think Fury will really bring it in this fight.
I truly hope the beating is even worse than the Wilder beatings.
Yea I’m sure that’s the to go to excuse if it happens ,most on here won’t be able to cope with the fact if Whyte defeats him , there has to be some bizarre reason . It won’t have anything to do with Whyte actually being prepared and out doing him he’ll be the second coming of A.J on here . :lol1:
If Whyte beats Fury, I will give him all the credit and definitely applaud him.
I firmly believe that there should be NO excuses for a fighter losing clearly. All these fighters nowadays always preach the "This is the best camp I have ever had" and when they lose, "Oh, Well, I didn't prepare like I should have",or, " My back didn't feel right on the leadup to the fight" etc etc.
Fighters are professionals and have professionals in their team, there shouldn't be any excuses to losing and I definitely frown upon that as a fan of the sport.
Now I understand the whole crooked judges thing, but I am talking about performances in the ring.
Hence if Whyte wins, all credit to him definitely.
I dunno....Fury is an arrogant cnt and has to be on cloud 9. Ripe time to catch someone sleeping.

Yeah I think that's the only way Fury loses, if he looks over Whyte and doesn't take the fight serious which I highly doubt he does

If the stars line up and Fury doesn't takes Whyte seriously....

I think Fury will win, either on points or late round stoppage. But I also think that Whyte will give him a much tougher fight than many people expect.
This is where I'm at. The odds for the fight to go the distance were almost 2/1 last time I looked. Might put some of my brook winnings on that...
Those were years ago ,only guy who looked good against Chisora was Klitschko and Haye.,Whyte along with Usyk looked bad against Chisora on the surface though they clearly won . You also made a thread with this of Whyte looking sloppy in recent fights but Povetkin was his most recent fights and under a new trainer looked very sharp so that doesn’t make sense either . When was Whyte hurt by Rivas I recall him tripping over their feet ?
Didn't he get put down by an uppercut? Not seen it since it was live so can't remember
