The outcome that nobody expects.
Wilder will hurt Fury to the body and then Fury will become overly defensive and turn the fight into a stinker. Wilder UD
Hard to pick against Fury when he was robbed in the first fight and beat the hell out of him like that in the second.
I think Wilder will do better than most think purely on the basis he can't really have a worse performance and I'm not sure Tyson can be better. His style change/tactics, the element of surprise is gone.
Sensible part of me thinks Fury and its a no brainer but if Wilder does target the body I think it gets real interesting & he can cause a big shock.
Tyson is huge and is skilled and all of that but I think people overthink it. To beat him you have to target the body. He's 6'9 you're going to have a torrid time trying to reach him and secondly you're going to lose power and become tired af punching upwards.
I'm not of the opinion Tyson fights up and down to competitions level I just think the lesser fighters that had better success had the better gameplans and wasn't gunshy headhunters. As bad as Wilder is technically, skillwise I think if he commits to the body and has some sort of output he's very live.
If the fight goes past 7 rounds, I can see Deontay Wilder winning.
Nobody knows how this new Kronk Fury at 270 + pounds does over the full distance.
I am not really going to pick anyone, and I will stay neutral on the fight. But yes for sure, I am not writing off Deontay Wilder completely 'And I think he has more than just a punchers chance'.
Wilder has a solid jab, his jab is actually better than Anthony Joshua's. I think Wilder just needs to hang in there, and survive the opening blitz 'Then as things settle down, try to land with his power anywhere on Tyson Fury's body'.
Tyson Fury since Wilder I, has been there to be hit. People still speak of Tyson Fury, as if he uses his old Riddler style 'But there has been zero evidence shown, that Fury at 270 + pounds can implement his old Riddler style'.
Notice how Fury fans, say things like? Oh Tyson Fury can win this way or that way. Tyson Fury weighed in at 254 pounds vs Ottin Wallin, and even still in that fight he used limited movement 'Was right there to be hit, and he was busted up real good by Wallin'.
Make no doubt about it, this is a extremely dangerous and real fight for Tyson Fury. He still has to do something special, to beat Deontay Wilder 'Fury has to ether legitimately knocked Deonaty Wilder out, or completely evade his power for 12 rounds' Tyson Fury in the 2 fights they have had, has not achieved any of those feats 'He was decked twice in the first fight, and Deontay Wilder was still fighting back when the fight was stopped in the second fight.
I am neutral on the fight, not really in anyone's corner 'But I can see Deontay Wilder winning, there is a way for him to win'.
I'll take Fury on points.
The 'Fury is a kronk heavy punching beast' idea is almost entirely derived from the beating he laid on Wilder. He's never been that fighter at any other time.
And it's easy to forget, because Wilder laughably denied it and blamed everything else, that Wilder's eardrum was banged out from Round 3.
Take away that one element and it's still the big awkward boxer against the one shot puncher. Fury on points or a Wilder knockout out of nowhere. I believe Fury is too good to walk onto a Wilder KO punch.
It's a tough one. On the surface it seems clear, Fury has been by far the better fighter in the rounds they've fought so far. But there's something to the argument that Wilder truly is fighting for his career, whereas Fury is not.
Also you have to wonder how many rounds you can go with Wilder before be hits you with something you can't recover from. Maybe Fury can take everything Wilder has got but it's far from certain.
I do hope Wilder doesn't outsmart himself and try to implement an overly complex game plan. He has to be wild and unpredictable, and play to Fury's willingness to take risks. If he does that we will get a few incredible rounds before somebody gets checked out.
Pretty much, like Pacquiao-JMM II was decided by the single knock down. I just think Wilder has something to prove and did not expect Fury to come at him like he did last time. So he will fight fire with fire. This is his last dance, he's going to put everything on the line win or lose
I like it man, it's different than what almost anyone else is predicting. You could be right about Wilder going for it early on. He's going to have to at least land something in the early going to make Fury hesitant from just bullying him like he did in the rematch.
Has Fury been taking this fight seriously or has he been bingeing KFC on cocaine? If he's been training properly he should handle windmill like he did in both their fights. However, it's never been more true than with Wilder, but one shot can change the entire fight.
Well, this is certainly a different type of prediction lol.
That would probably cause more controversy and a call for a 4th fight...This will be the new Pacquiao vs JMM rivalry Ha.

Wilder's legs were definitely on skates after one of those early cuffing shots that hit the ear/behind the ear. Not sure if Tyson lands that same shot again. It will be interesting to see what the game plans are for both fighters.
I just re-watched the fight on Saturday and even before Fury landed that shot, it was his fight but after that shot the fight completely flipped. Wilder had a decent 2nd round tbh....It was just one of those things where Wilder was done from that shot and had nothing to offer. He was fighting off pure heart from that point on. If he is not on shaky legs and can still fire off dangerous shots? Then I think Fury will play it safe and just try to out box Wilder and pick his moments to go on the attack.
