Oscar looked really good in the Forbes fight. If he can continue...and even improve his conditioning some more, he will have a great chance to win the Mayweather fight. No question De La Hoya will get hit much harder by Mayweather, but if he stays busy and keeps the pressure on he can win. Although Mayweather is very good at making adjustments and his conditioning is excellent. Should be another close fight.
Trinidad was a more devastating knockout puncher, but he is also naturally bigger than Cotto. I like how Cotto carries himself and lets his fighting do the talking. Trinidad talks to much...and doesn't admit it when he knows he lost. I think when Cotto's career is over he will have achieved more.
hahahahaa please.
casual sports fans don't shell out thousands of pounds and fly to las vegas.
Booing national anthems is just a English pastime.
No offence, honest. Its just what the fans do. No harm was meant, i assure you - the fans don't dislike America, or the song. Its just what the do. They do it for EVERY anthem of EVERY country.
Bad i guess, but come on. If you'd booed ours, we'd have fucking laughed. Infact thats what they wanted. They wanted u 2 boo ours. Get a bit of rivalry between the fans. Get your fans mad with our fans. Get a bit of aggro!
COME ON!! FAAACKIN MAGS!
I like this post.
even if it was illegal to boo it what was they goin to do lol?
its not illegal in the U.S. so nothing. In other countries...illegal or not, they might riot-face persecution.
There are a lot of great fights coming up, like the some of the fights mentioned above....which a boxing fan can appreciate. Fights dont have to be between mainstream big names to be big fights.
Some of the fans, although not all, were rude and disrespectful for voicing their opinions(booing) during the national anthem, but it is something that would happen every where else in the world where the US National athem is played.
It may have been somewhat political or just showing their disapproval for the American boxer, either way it was ignorant, and probably not directed at the people of America or America itself...because I believe most if not all British fans that were in attendance love being in Vegas.
It sucks that it was done in our own backyard- in the USA. But it also shows the freedom of speech that we have in this great country of ours.
Well, by the EVENT of it all I mean, when u go to Vegas for a big fight like that....EVERYTHING is exciting, the clubs are packed, the strip is packed all hours of the day , there are fighters to be seen everywhere, from the casino, to the strip, to the restaurants to poolside. There is nothing like the atmosphere of a big fight like that, the fans, the fighters, the trainers, the legends, the stars who come out..I dont even care about the actual fight that much...I will just be hanging out not even watching it all that closely to tell u the truth
Exactly
I will be there for sure. I'll pm you, as the fight gets closer.
