Hitman, I havent looked at any prices yet but...I know they have a place there, something suites it is called..there are several of them and they have VERY GOOD rates...they are located off the strip but not too far. As for me, we were thinking about getting a suite at Caesar's and packing in about ten of us

Anybody going to Vegas for Mayweather-Oscar 2? I tell u the truth..I dont care all that much about the fight...but I like the EVENT of a fight like that in Vegas..so I am planning on heading out with eight or ten other guys from the gym...anybody else going??? Ive been thinking about heading out there, have you looked at prices for rooms for that weekend and if so what kind of prices did you find?

They haven't signed the contract yet so nothing is confirmed. September 20th is the tentative date though.

i was thinking about taking my nephew he's 8 and he wants to get into boxing so i thought ide bring him out, not complety sure if i can make it happen yet.

Ice doesnt pay for tickets, man! :) LOLOL. But, no, I have a good bunch of guys from the gym, we will have BIG fun and, trust me, I am gonna' stop in KC and scoop up Dye, too! How about you scoop me up to? I can't afford to go see this fight.

Boxrec says September 20th, but thats very much up in the air still I'd imagine.

Well, by the EVENT of it all I mean, when u go to Vegas for a big fight like that....EVERYTHING is exciting, the clubs are packed, the strip is packed all hours of the day , there are fighters to be seen everywhere, from the casino, to the strip, to the restaurants to poolside. There is nothing like the atmosphere of a big fight like that, the fans, the fighters, the trainers, the legends, the stars who come out..I dont even care about the actual fight that much...I will just be hanging out not even watching it all that closely to tell u the truth Exactly. Thats why even if I don't like a fight too much, the atmosphere makes it so much better, even watching it live on tv you can get a glimpse of that. I am thinking of going to the Hatton-Malignaggi fight if thats in the Garden. I don't believe Cotto-Margarito is East Coast so I won't be going.

I keep telling these guys there is nothing like a boxing event in vegas then they say MSG is better. John from your experience what do you think? Shit ill go to vegas on any weekend!!! We're actually going to vegas july 24th for the cotto/margarito fight and i cant wait. Im waiting for it to be final so we can get our tickets. MSG is cool if it is summer time and your with some guys who like to hang out..you can walk up to Times Square or take the train down to the Village..but, man, Vegas is like a 3 mile stretch of all night amusement park, indoors and out. If you go there in warm weather during a big fight week...you may not ever want to leave
