The fight was not a complete washout like you said. Cotto and Mosley was close because both fighters stood and traded. Alot of momentum changes and alot of the action in the middle of the ring. Soto/Guzman was close because it was Soto controlling the pace. Fought at a leisure pace which suited Guzman but pressured at the same time. And he was digging to the body. I heard you say all last week how Mosley won. Mosley was the agressor and was getting hit with crisp counter shots from Cotto. With Guzman being a mover and Soto applying aggressive, but not alway effective, pressure this should be a close fight either way. However, I can't shake the image of Bobby Pac hurting Soto, and Guzman hits harder, if the fight ends in a KO/TKO, Joan will be the victor. Yeah, Soto was REAL hurt against Pac. So hurt that when Bobby landed that right hook Soto immediately threw a combination. He wasn't hurt chief. He got hit with a few good shots and that was it. We all know how that fight ended too, huh?

I'm not sure why, but this fight isn't getting much buzz.. These 2 guys are the future of the division... Who do you think wins, and why.. I think Guzman takes this.. With his boxing ability and speed Guzman's speed and boxing ability are both overrated. He throws wild punches, fights off-balance a lot of the time, keeps his hands down too much, doesn't set up his punches well, and his speed is only effective in that he throws lots of punches in spurts but most of those punches are pitty-pat punches and don't really do much. I've seen enough of both fighters, and I fully believe Soto will win this by KO. Guzman likes to throw wide, wild punches and Soto is gonna counter him to death. Plus, Soto is out to prove something in this fight. He's been waiting a LONG time for a fight of this magnitude.
