First I have to pat myself on the back for my prediction in a previous thread. Everyone owes me a cookie, too.
I got Calzaghe winning a close decision. It's going to be one of those fights that's a tough call. Calzaghe will be more active and land more punches, mainly pitty-pat stuff and maybe a few descent shots every now and then. Hopkins on the other hand will fight his usual more conservative style but he'll land the more clean, hard punches. One judge will see it for Hopkins while the other 2 will favor Joe's more active fight. when it's over it will be argued to death who won the the fight and in Hopkins mind it will be a victory regardless of the outcome. This way when he's criticized for all his pre-fight talk he can just say that he actually won the fight and his legacy shouldn't be tarnished.

what kind of camera is that? where were your seats located at? nice pics btw.
Thanks. The camera is a Canon Powershot A610 which is really just an average digital camera by today's standards.
I'm far from a photographer but the key was to turn the flash off, adjust the light level to a comfortably low level, and increase the ISO to reduce blur. Some of the pics still came out blurry, though.
I was seated in section 110 about 1/3 of the way up which was nice because it wasn't too far away and I was still looking down on the action.
I have to say BIG PROPS on the prediction mate. I'll be seeing you before i place any future bets!!!:boxing:
Thanks, but I would recommend anyone placing bets based on my usual picks lol
Thats cool man, I was there for Rahman vs Maskaev 2 and the place was not that full but was a healthy crowd. The undercard for this card was utter shit, did David Lopez look good in stopping Ryan Davis???
Yea, I was really disappointed with the undercard. There were a few showcase fights from GBP newest fighters but I really don't know how these guys are in terms of prospects. Lopez looked descent and controlled the fight. Then again Ryan wasn't exactly a great fighter.

I was pretty empty until right up to the main event. I guess that's the way things usually work but it was crazy how much it filled in such a short time. I'd say it was about 80-85% full during the Hopkins-Calzaghe fight.
