Are they speaking in Spanish?
How come their accent sounds different than the Mexicans?
they sound different just like north americans and scottish do.
USA > Argentina and Mexico. :D
Last time i traveled to S. American I went to Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. Met a lot of awesome women, but for me the rankings go
1) Uruguay chicks
2) Argentina chicks
3) The rest
If you went to uruguayan beachs, the girls you saw were probably most of them argentine.
With that chin Khan should fight as defensive as Felix Sturm. But it's not just the glass jaw, they don't respect his power. Khan was throwing punches and Garcia was trading hooks with his eyes shut, like i don't give a ****! It looked like an amateur fight at times.
Khan was far from being protected. He fought Maidana (in his prime) Peterson and now García. He is young and british, of course GBP will try to build a superstar. GBP is making of boxing someting similar to UFC where the best fights the best. The only exception is Canelo who is too young, they make lots of money protecting him.
If Khan could move his head a little more he would be another different boxer.
He reminds me of Arlovski, a great MMA fighter who has a glass jaw. He always is winning the fight but is a matter of time until they touch his chin and put him to sleep...
I heard he's bangin his dance partner. Any truth to this, Nicolino?
Have you seen that blonde? it's seems to be common, to bang the dancing partner in that TV show but i still don't know for what team Sergio plays :dunno:
I think this is his real facebook account. But he can't add more friends so he has this other one where some people share the stuff of his original account.
People is confused about the timeline. Before the Proksa fight Golovkin's trainer said they were not ready for Sergio Martinez. Before that everybody knew GGG as much as N'Dam N'Jikam. Pirog was and still is a nobody. He offered a fight in Russia for the same money Sergio does in USA or Argentina. The Murray fight was an excuse to make a big fight in Argentina. IMO 2014 is the year in which Sergio must decide wether he retires, goes down to JMW or stays in MW and fights Golovkin.
Mexican run the sport of boxing but suck in any other sport.
Floyd is top three best boxer of all time.
Nevertheless, prime Paul Williams would have beaten Floyd.
American "slick" boxers hug too much.
American referees suck.
B-hop sucks.
Brawlers are skilled in their own way.
In 2014 GBP and Top rank will finally work together again.
Daniel Geale clearly beat Darren Barker.
GBP never had future plans for Maidana. He is always used to hype other boxers. He was suposed to loose against Ortiz, Morales, Soto Karass and Lopez. You can actually see Oscar mad on his seat when they get KO. Same thing against Alexander (who signed with GBP before the fight). If it wasn't Chino his mandatory, GBP would have never made the Khan fight. They also tried to hype Matthysse and Thurman with Chino.
Hagler was getting his ass beat against Martillo Roldan until he thumbed his eye.
Monzon >>>> any of the fab. Four
People now are saying that Lucas can be outboxed and that Matthysse is a brawler and Garcia is a boxer. I don't think is that simple. Lucas does great against boxers and to me, he is not easy to outbox. Danny is not just a boxer, he probably is the hardest counter puncher out there. He is smart, he bangs and then clinch. I don't think people like brawlers or boxers, it doesn't work that way. It's more subjective. I follow fighters with different styles. Maybe if it wasn't for Angel Garcia more people were rooting for Danny.
The fight was brutal. Two prime heavy handed champions throwing bombs for twelve round. What else you want?
The fight may have been scored really close, but it wasn't.
And its really difficult to just plain say "if lucas would have won another round" well, he didn't and by the end of the fight he was being outclassed so this argument is moot
Danny is the fair winner of the fight but that doesn't mean he was outclassed, that is some strange idea of yours. Is really hard to fight Danny because of his monster left and though he said he didn't felt Lucas power he was hurt plenty of times during the fight.
He wasn't hurt any more than Matthysse was. If anything, he did more damage to Matthysse than the other way around and it showed with a fractured orbital bone.
Of course he did, i'm just saying why i would love to see a rematch. That's all!
read my prediction of the fight a couple of months ago:
"I wouldn't be surprised at all if Danny get a desicion or KO Lucas. I'm a big fan of Lucas, but let's face it, he is not Maidana. Chino has been in wars with hard punchers but Lucas hasn't yet. To me, this is a 50 / 50 fight. Matthysse is stronger but he is not as accurate puncher as Danny. We still don't know if he can walk through his punches. This is an even fight, a test for both, a great matchup."

I think Matthysse lost to Danny because he and his team were overconfident, while Danny knew very well what he had to deal with. Most people underestimated Danny and now most people are overestimating him. All this is not very rational.
I agree they were overconfident. Lucas seemed aware of his left hook (he ducked lots of them in early rounds) but he seemed surprised of combinations and Danny's chin. So, i expect a different game plan in a rematch. Though we still don't know how that injured eye could affect his career.
Well the reasons are there, if you rewatch the first six rounds. Even now, knowing that Danny has a great chin, Lucas probably wouldn't look for the KO but to win rounds. The fight was really close, if Lucas would have won one more round, that point deducted to Danny would changed the fight to a draw.
Most of those punches were to the ear and Danny moves his head.
But then again i'm not against rabbit punches when a boxer is clinching too much. It's a way to discourage clinching and just like low blows, if the referee doesn't do nothing about it, who cares?
