I'm sick of it already. He got caught, it happens in this game. To say he's done is simply idiotic.
Look, he is 25 years old, takes on all comers, ducks no one, and has undoubtedly elite offensive skills. So he has a suspect chin, but so do a lot of offensive minded fighters. He has heart, and he has balls, which counts for a hell of a lot in my book, so give him a damn break. He's earned it.
As a fight fan, he is EXACTLY what you are looking for ... young, blazing offense, heart, ducks no one, always wants to fight the best.
Most of the youngsters in here are of the mindset that if you lose, you are done. Bull**** I say. Khan has another 7-10 years in this game. Book it.
he's a B+ fighter, but he's got the backing of golden boy. he'll probably take paulie's belt, never face anyone with power and his fanboys will remember him as one of the greatest ever.
It's the cult of the undefeated record. A guy should retire when his skills deteriorate or it becomes apparent that he just wasn't good enough in the first place to reach the top. Khan's skills aren't going anywhere at his age and he's got enough about him to think he can compete in elite level fights.
You utter retards that are writing him off are exactly whats disgracefull about Boxing fans.
That's why UFC fans will always put us to shame.
A UFC fighter loses and it's ''oh well he'll be back''.
A Boxer loses and it's ''oh he's done and he should retire''.
:D He should retire?!? The kid is 25 years old and we have people saying he's done :D
You lot are a disgrace to this great sport.
He is 25 years old.
Boxing fans are epic, absolutely epic.
When khan goes down, he is unlikely to go on to win the fight, unlike JMM who goes down but gets up and has all his faculties and sometimes comes on stronger.
JMM is fragile, yet tough at the same time. Khan is rather fragile. When khan has his senses about him, you think he can walk through walls though.
It's just haters having a feast, they do it every time a fighter loses or performs below-par. Ignore bro, Khan will be back.
Pretty much....... And I'm not even a Khan fan
Khan isn't done, of course not but he needs to work on his boxing brains, He doesn't have any boxing brains at all, How Bradley ducked him is still a misery to me.
The more that weak jaw gets cracked, the worse its gonna get for Amir...I've been saying this for awhile now 147 is a huge mistake for Khan... He will be commentating fights alot earlier than he thinks....
People are pouring it on because of Khan Arrogance and he also have a few A$$HOLE FANS who are extremely annoying, people are just poking at them a bit and rightfully so because people do this to most fighters when they lose
sure Khan can bounce back, it is going to be tough though and he has a lot of work to Do because he has way too many FLAWS, the negatives outweigh the Positives and that is not good
With that chin Khan should fight as defensive as Felix Sturm. But it's not just the glass jaw, they don't respect his power. Khan was throwing punches and Garcia was trading hooks with his eyes shut, like i don't give a ****! It looked like an amateur fight at times.
Thats because Roach has taught Khan and Pacman to throw a million punches instead of picking calculated punches which do more damage.

Wow lol
Khan is done man, I knew he would never be an elite fighter since the Prescott fight, but I only see him getting taken out even easier now. You just can't be an elite fighter with a chin like that, guy has the punch resistance of a 60 year old lady. This is the hurt business, you're gonna take some big shots during battle, just part of the game. Khan foolishly thought he had a good chin cause he took some monster shots from Madiana, but if you watch closely the ref really bailed Khan out and Maidana is a very sloppy fighter as well. It's only going to get worse if he moves up to welter weight.

That's his second KO loss. He was on the verge of being stopped against Maidana and he took a LOT of punches against Peterson. He's probably not gonna leave his trainer and he's probably not gonna improve his defense and head movement. You have a recipe for a short career and possible permanent brain damage.
Khan will be done, but that is in 4 years time when he retires himself at the young age he said.
We are in for a bumpy ride, he will win some more belts before long and he will likely get ko'ed again when we least expect it.
Actually we can predict his next loss, it will be when an oppenent who hits hard downgrades Khan, and khan gets angry and loses gameplan and gets caught.
But his career isnt over. As a career thats over implies they wont win any more meaningful fights, and even the haters know thats not the case with khan, as he will win plenty more big fights.
Khan is not done, he was just knocked off his high horse. Khan is good but nothing more than that. He was being marketed as a superstar and future great which he is is not. Khan is a B level fighter that will beat most other B level fighters but has the ability to be knocked out by anyone. Khan will win another title down the line but he will never reach the A class. I can see Khan's career looking similar to Zab Judah's.
Thing is Khan was talking about retiring while he was young. Cant remember what age he said specifically. But with a chin of his and the money he has already generated I would retire if I was him. He dont need to keep getting his head smashed in. Who knows what if his next fight he gets a brain aneurism from taking big shots? He can easily get a job with Golden Boy or start promoting himself.
Khan isn't done, however, he is done in terms of ever reaching the elite status. He has always had some decent offensive tools but having no defense and no ring smarts is what hurts him.
Another trainer maybe able to help as defense and ring smarts are skills that can be taught. That is if, the fighter is willing to learn, I think that it maybe too late for that with khan.
He'll be back.
