CompuClinch for Marcus Browne vs Radivoje Kalajdizic
8 rounds(thank god)
round 1: 6
round 2: 8
round 3: 10
round 4: 14
round 5: 12
round 6: 10
round 7: 13
round 8: 10 (he spent a lot of time on the canvas which ran out a lot of the clock for him. veteran move)
Total clinches: 83
clinch pace: 10.4 clinches a round
analysis: Browne has a way to go before catching great clinchers like wlad but i do like that he holds onto his clinches very tight and runs out a lot of the clock on each clinch. One good long clinch can be as effective as 2 or 3 little clinches. He also is what i would call a power clincher. at times he would get up a good head of steam and barrel into kalajdzic hugging him and plowing him across the ring into the ropes. This leaves him open for a counter clinch which could hurt him in the future.
Bump....... Anyone got the compuclinch stats from last night???
yes, right here............

Neither of those two have ever clinched as much, as blatantly, without actually fighting as Wlad has done. In Bhops scrapper fights, he's always gotten tons of stick from everyone too.
Wlad clinches more in one fight than Floyd has in his entire goddamn career. Floyd moves and sometimes clinches, but he's always punching, and using it for actual offense. Wlad literally does it for no reason. You remember when he ran in and before anything had happened at all, just clinched Povetkin? No punches thrown, no form of fighting at all... Just ran in and clinched first up.
Bhop has had some shocker fights, like Jones II, but got slammed for it. However, in his mid to late 30's he fought hard all fight and rarely clinched on any level remotely close to Wlad. He clinched more when he got to his mid to late 40's, but never as bad as a Wlad fight.
LOL, watch bhop's clinchfest against Calzaghe and then try writing that with a straight face. Bhop got most of his stick for headbutts, low blows, rabbit punches, faking injury/low blows and general phuckery, not for the clinching
As for floyd, well if you're so blind that you don't see it then i can't help you. Not only does he clinch but he throws elbows from the clinch.
The point is consistency. If it's wrong for him to do it then it's also wrong for floyd/bhop/ward to do it. If the people crying about it here don't complain about those three then it's obvious their issue with Wlad has nothing to do with clinching.
I agree. Them or anyone for that matter should be warned and points should be deducted. Not only for that but for other things as well. One problem is that because of who they are they get away with doing it.
Floyd and Bhop are usually more subtle about it though. Wlad makes it very obvious that its apparent to the guy sitting in the last row at a stadium.
Yes, I counted 96 clinches. I knew this fight was going to turn into a clinch fest, so I just decided to sit here and count how many times Wlad clinches. In 6 Rounds, Wlad clinched 51 times. By the end of the fight, it was 96 clinches.
you are a brave warrior for sacrificing your time and sanity to keep track. i think we also need to keep track of how many times the ref says "last warning" then does nothing. 96 clinches with only one point deduction...and he still clinched about 20 times after that point deduction. wlad's grade=fail
Funny I don't see all you mugs crying when it's bhop or floyd clinching their way to victory. I wonder why...

3 wrongs do not make a right.

Klitschko landed 38 of 89 punches
so he landed 38 punches and 44 clinches? why is this allowed?
if klitschko is an african american it will be called "sweet science".
