Chavez is 27 tho. He has little backing in the us so if anything hell be another Lucas. Get his first title shot when he's like 30 and prime years slipping away
Nothing wrong with being Lucas lol and he's no where near done. Lucas is still prime, but he's falling into the line of great talents that has problems winning titles because of his willingness to fight the best opposition, kind of like Bennie Briscoe. He could have easily got his hands on a paper strap, but he continuously fights the best. My humble opinion is that Mayweather would not he undefeated if he didn't pick and choose. He could have lost to the prime Cotto that out boxed Shane, or the volume Margarito that overwhelmed Cintron. I know I'm going a bit off topic here lol but a look in history will show that nearly every great fighter that continuously fought top fighters, lost even during their prime years. This is what people don't understand. Also, Chavez is just starting. His only war was Thurman. His prime years is right now and will be for a long time.
I think the Thurman/Chaves fight was one of those fight's where two elite fighter's meet when they're young, and both go on to do great things (Kind of like when Bradley fought Vasquez). Both will be champion in two years tops IMO.

Chaves Guerrero would be fun. Though if I was his manager Id put him in with lower tier fighter for his comeback. Breidis Prescot would be a fun fight.
I want to see Chaves again but he does seem to have stamina problems. Needs to get in better shape and/or pace himself more, not swing for the fences as much early.

Agree with this.

one thing is thurman didn't have a easy time in that fight he was losing imo and but was coming on strong
i'd def like to see him again but i doubt any name fighters would even get in there with him
