I wouldn't expect any less from a Scotsman, that's for sure.
P.S. Willy Limond, Ricky Burns and Alex Arthur, Scotlands holy trinity lmao.
Don't be having a go at Scots or your record will be changing to 46-1 pretty quickly.
I don't think he's shot but these things can literally change overnight. His performances of late have been up and down however there was more than enough in the performances against Marquez and Pacquiao to suggest he could give Khan problems which is why I'm tipping him to secure the knockout.
i wouldn't say floyd is a coward, he is just a guy who tries to get everything in his favor prior to fights so he doesn't have to fight with any UNCERTAINTY, be it mind games, money, fight demands, etc. that is what floyd is all about, being the favorite and having the edge, and if not, then the fight is a no go, and we're seeing this happen.
floyd can do whatever he wants as far as i'm concerned, just as long as he doesnt call himself one of the greatest of all time.
he's no Ali, no Ray Robinson, no Leonard, no hagler, no pep, etc.............
far from it, because those guys fought all who was out there for them. floyd has not and will not.......
he's a con artist.
And you, by the looks of things, are a conspiracy theorist ergo your opinion counts for jack.
Mayweather was right, Kellerman's questioning was embarrassing as was the decision to let Mosley and Hopkins hijack the interview. Clearly Golden Boy and HBO wanted to force the situation upon Mayweather which is completely out of order and it led to us not being able to hear what we really wanted to regarding Mayweather and Pacquiao.
If Antonio Margarito wasn't a boxer he would be a much sought after military weapon owned exclusively by Kim Jong Il.
If Paulie Malignaggi was a boxer he wouldn't punch like an amputee.
Im so tired of the preliminary shit talking.....lets go.:boxing:
Cotto has been marketed very well.
Tonight is his first real test.
And what was the fight with Mosley?
I'd love to know when people think Hopkins' prime was. The time often cited is the fight against Trinidad and it is usually followed by the claim that Calzaghe couldn't live with him. Well, I'm sorry, but I find that very hard to believe.
Margarito has NEVER made any excuses not to get in the ring with ANYONE. Floyd has!
Floyd has been called out by dozens of fighters. It would have been impossible to fight them all.
Yeah I watched him win the first 6 rounds and the 12th, and 2 in between, 1 at least. That's easy.
Margarito didn't show up until the sixth round and still managed to win five rounds.
Cotto fought well for most of the fight in my opinion but he was up against a man who was relentless last night and it would have taken a punch-perfect performance to get the win. I definitely think Cotto is capable of beating Margarito but an immediate rematch would not be the best idea.
It doesnt really matter because Marg still stopped Cotto. This is pretty irrelevant.
Kind of how Enzo Calzaghe claimed Macca would've beaten Haye if the fight would've gone 12 rounds.................. does that make much sense to you?
I'm not trying to make any point, I just want to have a consensus of opinion on who was winning.
So this was that 1 time out of 10?
Damn.
But I don't remember you saying that.
I remember you making a ton of comments like this.
Another victim of the Cotto hype machine.
Yes there are two options. Either that was the one time out of ten or else I got it very wrong.
I stick by all the comments I made leading up to the fight. I still think Cotto is a vastly superior boxer and I was very susrprised that he lost the fight. I think with a few subtle but important changes he would have won the fight comfortably. Having said that, perhaps I underestimated Margarito.
