I think if Paul vacates WBO belt and not fight Cotto, i wouldnt be surprised to see Mosley grab it and force a rematch i wouldnt mind seeing.
but if Paul stays id like to see a Cotto fight between the two.
He'll probably start with the winner of Clottey/judah fight, if Williams still there he'll fight him and if he vacates he'll probably go for that belt. Where I see the problem is Berto, I don't think his handlers don't want Cotto anywhere near him.
It's very likely that Paul Williams will not fight at welterweight anymore. I mean he nearly signed a fight with Pavlik at 160 and it looks like he's going to fight Winky Wright at 160. I think he's done with 147.
He probably can no longer make the weight.
I don't see Paul coming ack to 147 after fighting at 160. after this weekend, providing Miguel wins. He will need to win the winner or Judah-Clottey which should not be too hard. Andre Berto, who i would give a chance in a while but if it happens soon i think he is too green. And whoever picks up the WBO title...
He could do it. Problem will be mandatories.
Either Tony or Cotto could beat any of the other WW titlists. Cotto already beat Zab and Tony already beat Clottey. I think Tony could beat Williams in a rematch, but Willimas could repeat too. I'd like to see them fight again.
Oh well, it's very posible. Berto should not a be a big problem. The IBF tittle is up for graps since Margarito could no put it on the line on July 26th. The BIG PEROBLEM is beating a guy who got a huge advantage on size and reach like Paul "The Punisher" Williams. That fight for Cotto is mind blowing. COTTO NEEDS TO USE QUINTANA'S BLUEPRINT OF THE FIRST FIGHT AND WORK FROM THERE. Maybe that's why there has been no talks about it for the last year.
