I got Ward to beat Kess. I think that Ward should really box this guy and put combinations together. Ward can throw a good punch and he is pretty accurate. Kess isn't a push over though. Kess can box as well and his is a big guy. This is will be Ward's toughest fight to date. I'm looking forward to it.
Go WARD!
:usa:
If Kessler can make it brutal than he will have a good chance. Ward is just to damn quick and elusive. I dont see Kessler making it a brawl, unless Ward wants it that way. Ward WILL control the pace of the fight. No way Kessler can change that.
I agree..I believe that he will control the pace of the fight as well. Kess may have to make him fight early.
Nah. It'll be brutal. Kessler's right will penetrate Ward's skull.........

He has, but other than Calzaghe, none of them really had the same elusive, awkward style as Ward.
He may stay orthodox, but go southpaw to confuse or show Kessler a different look.
Ward is not quite good as southpaw. He may confuse opponents at a lower level, but not Kessler
Kessler makes Ward look like an overrated amateur
Kessler by KOOOOOOOOOOO
You're jinxing it! :lol1:
I hope not, but I really don't have an impressive track-record when it comes to picking fights. :sad2:
Pac steamrolling the opposition has cost me an e-fortune.

My take is that if he goes from orthodox to southpaw he'll also go from vertical to horizontal. :)
If I was Ward I'd stay orthodox. He doesn't fight particularly well as a lefty and Kessler has vast experience fighting southpaws.

Kessler will treat it like the Mundine fight and jab mainly to the body and very few right hands early. Kessler didn't throw many right hands until he was sure Mundine had slowed down. Body work is essential for both guys.
It wouldn't surprise me if Ward fought as a southpaw and circled to Kessler's left or at least circled that way in an orthodox stance. That way, he'd keep him reaching and off balance when he threw a straight right.

Tbh the only way Ward can win is by staying on his feet and hoping for a patriotic split decision win, there in nothing this guy has over kessler. Ward has proven nuthin at this level.
How many Ward fights have you seen?
