Never liked him. I cheered for Clottey, Cintron, and Cotto. Was happy when Mosley stopped him.

He is a true Mexican warrior. He comes to fight and to put on a show, give people their monies worth. He isnt there to dance or run around, but to give it his all. He is feared in the ring but a gentleman outside the ring He is the whole package He is a humble guy and he never really talked shit. when he was gonna fight cotto my heart was with cotto but i had a feeling that margarito was going to win. But after that whole incident with the gloves even thou he might not have cheated with cotto. he defently tried to cheat against shane and that is y everybody has turned on him wich i think that they should you should never support a cheater

I'll give him props, but I still won't like him. You can't help how you feel about any person. But I am referring specifically to giving him more credit as a professional boxer.

I like to see Margarito fight, he's a very entertaining fighter. I just don't think he can beat Cotto.

The claim that he is feared. I agree. In Fighting Margarito the risk out weighs the reward. That is why Sugar Shane or PBF didn't fight him. He is not a big money guy that is why he doesn't get the big fights untill now. Other than that nothing.

Tony is a very likeable guy and I enjoy watching him fight.. who doesn't enjoy watching sluggers? I wouldn't consider myself a fan but if Tony is fighting, I am watching! He looks and acts like a good person too. I have nothing against Tony and he cool with me. Having said that, I think some of his fans are the ones who give him a bad rep. Some people just don't know how to have a friendly rivalry. I am rooting for Cotto and think he will win but I've shown nothing but love for Tony and the Mexican people.. despite that some of the Mexicans on the board still like to hate and start fussing about shit that doesn't matter or has nothing to do with the fight.. they alienate themselves from everyone else by being too nationalistic and arrogant and then they get mad when someone starts to mess with them about it. Same goes for some of the Ricans on the site.
