Cotto has a chance. His left hook to the liver is his best weapon and could be very effective if Floyd elects to stand or stay stationary long enough. Floyd won't though.
Floyd is a rich coward and his health come first.
If Floyd was that much better, he wouldn't have struggled with Cotto, whereas Pac toyed with Cotto.
Fights on paper are lame. Fights need to be made in the ring.
Crooks.
It's like they don't give a damn anymore. Everyone knows they're the most corrupted organization in boxing. The pick and choose rules as they please and manipulate the rankings to favor certain fighters.
Even ward's position is not guaranteed. He could very well lose to Dawson in his next fight and have Dawson take his spot instead. Rigondeaux is already 31 and he'll have to lure Donaire into the ring and beat him. He'll also be contending with Russell Jr since around the same weight class.
Bradley will be a top guy around the 140-147 division with Pac & Mayweather retiring.
Chavez Jr actually have a chance if he beats Martinez, then the winner of Pirog & GGG. Throw a beating of Pavlik and Sturm in there and you have a top 3-5 P4P spot.
So the top spots, in no particular order.
- Ward/Dawson
- Donaire/Rigondeaux/Russell Jr.
- Chavez Jr/Tim Bradley
Ortiz sucks no matter how you look at it.
He quit because he couldn't take the pain or he got his ass beat by a guy who has no business being in there. Congrats to Lopez, but he's not a very good fighter. That makes Ortiz look even more terrible that he got beat by such an opponent.
Ortiz will always be Ortiz. He's got a fragile mind and if you apply just right amount of pressure, he'll start to fall apart. He's been overrated lately because he was a Mayweather opponent. The reality is that the guy has always had mental issues and it's not fit for boxing.
This is very suspicious. The guy is only investigating. Did I missed the story somewhere?
Golden Boy is damaging themselves by disclosing so much info in the letter. Something is up.
I really want Martinez to fight some of the top guys at 160. There are some really good matchups there. I don't like his desperation for a payday and draining himself down to 154.
I think Sergio may be a bit overrated. I think Ward is a better P4P fighter. Nonito is slightly overrated too. Maybe it's because of his distractions and moving up in weight, but I don't believe he's good enough to be top 3 P4P.
its called fightcard
I've haven't seen that App before and I did research on scorecard before I made it. Our apps are quite different. Cool App though.
Fceeviper, i remember seeing that app in the iTunes app store. It dasappeared recently.
For the people who bought it, feedback and feature requests are welcome.
It was a good stoppage. JuanMa's stamina is suspect and becomes more susceptible to getting hit in the later rounds. Maybe he could have gotten out of the round, but he wouldn't have survived round 9. His legs were gone and he was getting hammered.
Chavez is in for a fight tonight. Whether he wins or not, he's going to take some good punishment. I think Rubio has a great chance to end the hype. I just hope the officials play fair. The odds are stacked against Rubio.
Mosley can still end the fight with one punch, but I doubt he'll be landing that kind of punch at this point in his career. He had Floyd on almost on a canvas twice leads me to believe that he can still surprise us.
Arum lies, but this is an insult to every intelligent boxing fan. They're making a mockery of the sport with this matchup and they have to balls to bill it as a legit fight. Everyone including their mothers who don't watch boxing know this is a massacre waiting to happen.
I've never seen a fighter 'defending' his title so many times against unworthy opponents. It must be a record. To hell with GBP and this bs.
He was only 143 on fight night vs Ortiz? That's insane. I know for sure Canelo re-hydrates to at least 160 and I'm being conservative. We could be looking at a 20lb weight difference on fight night. That's more than Margarito's 17lb advantage over Pac.
This fight is a farce.
